I missed that one!

Kar, sounds like a typical son. :sad2: Better trade him in for a little girl. :rotfl: ;)

...........:rotfl: ..............:rotfl:

Please do not get mad at me when I say this as the mom of daughter's BUT there have been times I have told him to "put on a skirt", "get your nails painted" and "put a ribbon in your hair" because you are acting like a bratty girl....that really pisses him off...

When he was really little, grammar school, I used to tell him in the mornings when he was a brat that I was calling the school and asking "SISTER SUPERIOR" to please get one of the girl's uniforms from the closet for YOU to wear all day long......... he would get just so angry at me BUT it worked, he changed that attity quickly.........:rotfl:

Did your boys go to Catholic school?

Chris went Catholic through 8th grade. Then public school. (Which he choose and LOVED).

Mike went Catholic from K - 12th. And both attend a Catholic College here in the Northeast.

The public HS Chris went to was fabulous for so long and the year he graduated it went on PROBATION with the State of MA. I did not want Mike at a HS that was on Probation. So we sent him to Private HS and it was over an hour commute and $6,000 a year. SO COSTLY. As a parent of boys that attended both public and private, Mike was always much more diligent about school work and getting assignments and getting them done and in a timely manner. At the public HS, it was more lax.

At the private HS, they also have ZERO tolerance for everything. Mike was standing at his locker, 2 girls started fighting, (hitting)...HEADMASTER and PRINCIPAL came down the corridor and told them to go to their locker, clean it out, call your parents, you are done at Holy Name...Mike said he was in SHOCK for 10 minutes after that whole scene.

My brother and I went to Catholic school, too. Drew goes to Catholic right now, but I'm not sure where we'll send him for K.

In my small town, we have THREE Catholic churchs, and THREE Catholic schools, BUT you had to have your name on the list when the child was BORN.

One school is all Polish and even speak Polish quite abit of the day.
One school is all French and even speak French quite abit of the day.

And then there is St. Louis for everyone else, like us!! We are not Polish or French...I am all Irish and my DH is all Finnish. Hence, us being at STL!!!

DH and DS are home....DS tried to scare me by coming in the front door and fell and hit his face on the porch steps. :sad2:
