I don't see him in the mornings....he leaves here around 5:30am, and my butt is still asleep. He comes in every day to tell my goodbye, but I must've been really snoozing today and don't remember or he didn't tell me goodbye!

Did you all have a party for him yesterday?

I'm doing good. I got to sleep in. And then we are going to do some shopping. How are you DD?

Did you all have a party for him yesterday?

No...I made him brownies, we went out to eat, and then to a play at DS's school. We came home and FIL called with Christmas plans. He wants us at their house by 12:00. I said to DH, "Don't you think that's a little early??". Well, that's what started it all . We get into a fight EVERY year at this time. DS doesn't get up early....usually by 9:00....and I'm making a huge breakfast after we open gifts as my parents, my sis and his Dad were all invited here in the AM. That means I have to RUN around like a chicken with my head cut off to do everything, tell DS he can't play with his stuff and then go eat DINNER at 12:00??????????????????????
How dare I suggest that we eat at 1:00?????????? He went NUTS. Says all I think about is ME and my famly. Yeah, that's it. He was being a major jerk, so I took my butt to bed and ignored him. We always fight about family stuff because my family is always around (they live 5 doors up from us), and his parents usually don't have much to do with us....but expect us to drop everything when they beckon us. That's my rant for the day.

Do you think they'll really eat that early??? Or are they just trying to get everyone to hang out??? Maybe you should take a frying pan and go talk to them about it??

In-law caused disagreements I understand all to well. I think how easy my life would be if they just left us alone. I'm sorry you all had a fight on your DHs birthday . I think 1 or even 2pm would give you a more relaxed morning and plenty of time with DHs family.

I'm thinking of listing some stuff but I'm scared I'll just end up with listing fees. Is there a trick to it?? Do you have to do a full week??

I usually list on Amazon -- just books, CD's and videos... but I think I want to move up.

The thing is that they have to take MIL back to the nursing home by 4:00pm to start her IV drip. I am thinking of calling a truce and telling DH that we'll set the alarm on Christmas morning (fun, fun) so DS has to get up early.
