I was an English major in college and I love cool words and knowing the words for symbols...gosh, I'm a geek...

My second favorite word I learned in 9th grade from the best English teacher ever. The English word for umbrella--bumbershoot.

My first favorite word is the most versitile word in the English language. it can be a noun, verb, adjective, and so on and so on.

Anyone know what it is?
