I think people were talking about November (the week after Thanksgiving? OR maybe it was October? or September?) Heck, it was in the fall sometime...but I say if someone is REALLY up for going I will try and make any time in that timeframe work. I would just love another reason to plan a WDW vacation

I don't know when it will be . This year it was the last of August and then till the end of September. But I hear this year it ends September 28th or 29th. I don't know how they pick the dates ....

And Mrs. Jokin' Giraffe...you would be correct...I ask because I read a thread yesterday that really made me scratch my head. Someone annouced that their favorite name was Rage Christopher (or some other middle name...it's not important cause it wasn't Rage). Then they got all bent out of shape when others reacted to that name. They acted like they could NOT imagine how anyone would not just assume it meant "Trend Setter"...and were so "hurt" that anyone wouldn't think that straight off...I sense they were NOT for real...HOW do you not know that Rage means totally peeved off and angery beyond angery???? I was just checking that I was not totally wacked out. I just don't see naming a kid Rage...then again, I don't have to go through life with that name so live and let live....I just hope my boys don't bring home wives named Black Widow, Murdere` and Plague.

I am an "expert" on September travel

Free dining is mid August through the last day of September. We were able to use it twice this year. The first time we used it 9/16-9/23 and then we used it 9/30-10/3. As long as you "start" by the last day of the promotion it will run out the length of your say (up to 10 days). I think the week after Labor Day is a great time to be at WDW. Nobody else is

DID you ever calculate exactly what you saved, JAY...I bet it is TONS!!!

Then combined with early Sept...you could easily go very cost effective that time.....

I know you have a select time period to GRAB the free dining...right!!!

Our anniversary is September 20 and I know we'd like to be there again at that time (low crowds)...but I WILL be taking supplies!

At least that is when it was in the past. The first time they offered it everyone said they would never offer it again...but they did. I wonder if they will offer it again this year. The promotion has been annouced in late spring/early summer both of those times...the rooms that are reserved for that promotion are limited and you have to jump quickly once they are "out" to get the resort you want. But if you are willing to not be picky about which resort the ressies aren't that hard to get for the stay...it's the ADRs that are KILLER during free dining...they are all snapped up way early. We saw signs out "NO TABLE SERVICE walk ups today" at some of the parks while we were there. Also they were offering "free gifts" to use your table service as a counter service meal. It was crazy. The really sad thing was the seats were only about half full in the TS places...people just made them and didn't show (for the most part).
