Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!

"Since the dawn of man" is really not that long,
As every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song.
A fraction of a second and the elements were made.
The bipeds stood up straight,
The dinosaurs all met their fate,
They tried to leap but they were late
And they all died (they froze their tushies off)
The oceans and pangea
See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya
Set in motion by the same big bang!

It all started with the big BANG!

It's expanding ever outward but one day
It will cause the stars to go the other way,
Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it wont be hurt
Our best and brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang!

Australopithecus would really have been sick of us
Debating out while here they're catching deer (we're catching viruses)
Religion or astronomy, Encarta, Deuteronomy
It all started with the big bang!

Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology
It all started with the big bang!
It all started with the big BANG!

So, I expect you will be able to sing the entire song (in key) by the next time I see you. :thumbsup2

Now that we have the words, I may have to add this to the Karaoke List for Kevin to sing to us on PCC 2.0. :thumbsup2

As I write this, I feel there is plot brewing to throw Chris overboard. Hmmmmm.......

:scared1:

When I was around 20, the Jesus Christ Super Star album came out. I spent the whole afternoon trying to figure out the lyrics to the title song. I played it over and over and over again. My friends came home and I showed them that I had most of the words and only had a few to go, would they help me. My friend turned the album cover over. & there on the other side were the words to all of the songs. :lmao:
When I saw the words to Big Bang I thought, wow, how did Kevin do that,:confused3 then I remembered we now live in a universe that has the computer. :lovestruc
Thanks for the words, I love this show and wondered what all of the words were. :woohoo:I am now going to go home and sing it endlessly to my DH (you should know, I can't sing ;))
Penny:hippie:

And I thought the lyrics to the Wonder Woman TV theme song were funny ...

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
All the world is waiting for you,
and the power you possess.

In your satin tights,
Fighting for your rights
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
Now the world is ready for you,
and the wonders you can do.

Make a hawk a dove,
Stop a war with love,
Make a liar tell the truth.

Wonder Woman,
Get us out from under,
Wonder Woman.
All our hopes are pinned upon you.
And the magic that you do.

Stop a bullet cold,
Make the Axis fold,
Change their minds, and change the world.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
You're a wonder, Wonder Woman.

my pick

Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself.
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
It should've been somebody else.

Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free-.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.

It's like a light of a new day-,
It came from out of the blue.
Breaking me out of the spell I was in,
Making all of my wishes come true-.

Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free-.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me

You take the good, you take the bad,
you take them both and there you have
The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life.

There's a time you got to go and show
You're growin' now you know about
The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life.

When the world never seems
to be livin up to your dreams
And suddenly you're finding out
the Facts of Life are all about you, you.

It takes a lot to get 'em right
When you're learning the Facts of Life. (learning the Facts of Life)
Learning the Facts of Life (learning the Facts of Life)
Learning the Facts of Life.

I also thought of "Greatest American Hero" and "The Facts of Life" when I saw this thread. They just don't write theme songs like they used to.

Did you know that the original Star Trek theme had lyrics? Check out the lyrics on snopes. com. They are hilarious!

Australopithecus would really have been sick of us

Pure brilliance to rhyme this!! As Kathy said- Bazinga :happytv:

It actually doesn't rhyme. Australopithecus would rhyme with "sick of cuss"[/QUOTE]

But I talk with a lisp you know!!!:dance3:

Kevin is right, of course. This is the funniest live-action show on television right now. And thanks for the heads-up - I'm going straight to iTunes to get this on my iPod!
