The Luxor

I want to know where you got that info from? That is COMPLETELY wrong. The MGM has always been in the same place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MGM_Grand_Las_Vegas

Already been answered, but did you look at the top of entry that you linked?

This article is about the current MGM Grand in Las Vegas. For the first casino hotel with that name, see Bally's Las Vegas.

Bally's Las Vegas, formerly the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, is a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.

The pool area REALLY smelled like a sewer, but people were still swimming there. I heard they had a couple of cases of Legionaire's or something like that. When we stayed there, they had the original carpet that was bunching up and causing you to trip. If you have any fears of heights....when you look over the rail, you see nothing but the floor. Elevators are not fun when a little tipsy:crazy2:

Stayed there a few years ago and wouldn't stay there again. The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke and the room was very run down. If they have renovated lately, good for them. The check-in was a nightmare with extremely long lines. Also, we noticed a lot of young drunk people more there than at some of the other hotels. We have always stayed at the Bellagio, but wanted to stay in the "pyramid". We went to see Ray Romano and they were making fun of the worst hotels in Vegas. He thought it was the Luxor and asked anyone staying there to raise their hands.....(we didn't and just laughed). Next trip will be at City Center in either the Aria or Cosmopolitan. Our hotel stay is part of the magic of our trip (like a Disney hotel) and we would rather pay a little extra for that.
