Um....why are my kids like little demons?

They were outside playing for a while, then they came back in. DS8 started screaming like someone was killing him. After investigation, I found out that DS3 had a stick that he poked in poo and was now torturing his brother by chasing him around, threatening to get the poo on him.

I confiscated the poo stick, and now DS3 is crying hysterically as if he'd just lost the crown jewels.

Can I just tell you I dont have a nature bone in my body and I use to be such a tomboy and traispse thru the woods for hours. The kids wanted to go outside, so I decided since DH is always claiming about my lack of enthusiam towards yardwork that I would rake up the dead leaves on the patio and convince the kids to put them in the wheel barrow. Even got DS10 to push the wheelbarrow but he complained it was too hard after two times.

So then we get down near the stream to dump the leaves, and DS10 decides it is time to throw rocks in the stream, well DS5 wants to follow excpet there is no easy way down and with his balance issues he definitely nees help Errrr. So now I find myself by the stream while the kids threw rocks. I was so bored and could not wait to get out of there but I was a good mom and we stayed for a little bit, and DS5 found it is "fun" to pee in the woods:rotfl2:

So then both kids crapped out on me and whine to come in so we are still not done are leaf project, oh well.

That is one great story!

:hrh-OH MY GOD- Thats all I can say about that story!

That story is great!!!

Just to make sure everyone knows...this is It's A Happy Day's Story. I wanna give credit where credit is due. She posted this on the Dis a long time ago, and it remains in my top three funniest/memorable stories on the Dis. When she comes on, she can tell you if it is a "personal" experience.

And for the record...I LOVE:love: okra....The slimier the better, although Fried Okra is my favorite..

whenever my DH sees me using something like a PediEgg or file on the bottom of my feet, he asks me if I am not short enough already..:rotfl:

I guess it's time for me to get off my rump and do something productive. I have so much to do, I know I'll never get it done.

But I'm sure that after a couple of hours of productiveness, I'll be right back here on my rump again.

I got us all ready for church. We have two pastors. Pastor Boring for first service and Pastor Exciting for second service. We went to Pastor Boring last week and I told my husband that I was done with Pastor Boring. So we go to Pastor Exciting this week. Guess who was filling in for Pastor Exciting? That's right, Pastor Boring. Booooo! I want my 90 minutes back please. It wasn't that bad but I was expecting Pastor Exciting. Poor Mr. Middle he could barely stay awake.

I am thinking about cleaning the carpet in my living room. I really should. My Winner husband would be so proud if I did that. What I really want is a nap. Hmmmmm decisions, decisions.

Morning Losers!

Kids were up at 6...when do they start understanding "sleeping in"?

I really need to do a bunch of stuff today, but I don't want to....someone tell me to get my butt in gear.
Right about the time they have to get up early for school, ball games, practices, etc. And they only like to sleep in on school days. On weekends mine are up early.
He also cleaned out my vacuum cleaner...like took it apart and washed it.:confused3 He says it is clogged up beyond working. OK, but ain't it just gonna get clogged up the first time I use it again? So now I am afraid to use it after all the work he put into it..so I won't...
Just say you didn't want to ruin all his hard work and dirty up the vacuum.

Well, losers, enjoy your Sunday. I am going to do something, but not a lot. the kitchen sure could use a cleaning, and it is not at a cleancom 10 yet, so maybe I should do that while there is still hope.

later y'all...
So if it's not a t CC10, why are you cleaning? You've still got time!:lmao:

I love Rock Band! But I don't think I've played it since a week after I got it. I have Enchanted, but I haven't watched it yet.

Yes, never use the vaccuum again. (But honey, it's so clean, I don't want to mess it up!)

Speaking of kitchens...I'm sure that if I don't do something with mine, it'll be cleancom 10 all the way. Wouldn't it just be easier to move than clean?
I'm thinking I'd like to move--saw a house in the paper today. Then DH had to go ruin my fantasy--"If we move we'll have to clean, paint, replace the fam. rm. carpet, etc" Killjoy! So I guess no 4000 sq ft 4-5 bedroom house for me!

I was just talking with DH about Rockband. I want to buy it when it comes on the wii (at least I think it will) but he's not interested. Really--he's like the black hole of fun sometimes.

On a happier note, we had both kids gone last night and ended up going out to our fav. Italian place. I thought it was too cold for margaritas. It was soooo good and I drank way too much wine--we had a ball watching the prom couples around us! It's always fun to pick out the long-time couple in the group and which couple is only there because they're friends with that one couple, etc. Yes--we are people watchers! (Like to do this at WDW, too--it's amazing the things people do when out in public!) We got to sleep in until 8:45 this morning, too. No yelling at DS to get dressed for Sun school or anything. It was awesome:yay: .

I am soooooo ready for spring. I can't believe it is mid-April and DH is at the pool in 35 degrees plus a raging wind:scared1: ! He's meeting with all the lifeguards and I told him he'd be lucky if all they didn't quit after that so he's trying to get a meeting room at the library.

Howdy Losers! I have made breakfast and bathed both me and the kid. Upstairs is straightened up, laundry put away (GASP!)...DH is still not showered (since Friday-eeewww!) and is STILL a grump. On top of that, he isn't traveling this week, so he will be home EVERY night. I just can't wait.

Tell him to cheer the frig up or you're going to ostracize his stinky butt!

I so need to get moving but here I sit.

Me too. Dh called and he is on his way home from the meeting. I'm still sitting here on the comp. Maybe I should do something really quick to make it look like I was working:rolleyes1

naaah! I'm staying for a little bit anyway.

Ok, that's it. I'm going to turn into a drill sargeant with my kids. I'm not taking their crap anymore. I'm not going to listen to anymore whining. I'm not cleaning up anymore crazy messes (like milk getting poured into the ice shoot in the fridge), I'm not picking up the trash they leave laying on the floor.

I'm not doing it ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had enough, and I'm going on a Mommy Rampage!

I'm back from cleaning :cool1: Between me, #1 & #2DSs we got both of their room clean. I helped #1DS clean out his closet (2 garbage bags full of trash, ie school papers & artwork that were from K - 2nd grade. I did keep afew pieces from each grade) and then he helped #2DS clean his room, which I came behind and finished, which got 2 totes of toys put back where they belonged. DD is working on her room all by herself (she wanted no help  ).
When she is done we are going outside so they can play with their new basketball hoop. Then I'm making porkchops for dinner.

Talked to FE earlier. He told me that last night, while out with MIL & her new boyfriend at a bar, he almost got into it with some genius (to put it mildly):headache: who was going around saying he was a sniper & had been over in Iraq. FE knew that he was full of it and it really pissed him off.
Do this idiots ever think that "hey you know someone might be in here that actually was over there and know I'm full of bologna" ?

So what's been going on, on the Dis today? Anything "interesting"?

You tell'em :thumbsup2

 I've had days like that

Now they're pulling the "Mommy, I'm really hungry" excuse so they can get out of cleaning up.

Well, I don't care how guilty they try to make me feel. They pull this crap everytime I tell them to do something.

Do your homework -- I'm starving, can't I have something to eat first?
Clean your room -- I'm reeeeeeeeeeally hungry.
Get those toys picked up -- Can you make me a sandwich?

No, no, and no!! Starve!!

And now, DS8 has already come back downstairs and said, "Can you fix me something to eat now because I've been cleaning my room?"

He's been up there for all of 2 minutes!!!!!!!!!

Shoved it all under his bed or in the closet?

Neither!!! Didn't really do anything. Just thought that since he put 2 minutes in, he should be rewarded.

I told him, he gets absolutely no TV, no video games, no nada until that room is clean -- even if that means two months!
