I love to LOOK at it....Its when I catch myself buying it, is when I am scared :scared1:

I wanted to get something (trying to get this place organized :scared1: ) but I didn't feel like paying over $15 for a 3 drawer plastic organizer. I think I need to clean out my closet alittle more before I get something.

Hey LOSERs! did you know that we have failed yet again? We are supposed to be cleaning and sanitizing the seats on the airplane now, as well as our homes!

I am proud to be a complete failure at this.....

Hey stranger! I know you can't tell us where you've been or where you're going but I hope everything went according to plan.

The first time I realized that airplane seats weren't sanitary was the day my DD got sick on one. Poor thing tried her best to throw up in the barf bags, but sometimes she just couldn't get to it in time.

I called the flight attendent to offer to clean it up if she had any products to use.

She went in the back and brought me 3 napkins? :confused3

I asked her if they had any special spray or soap to wash down the seats, and she looked at me like I had three heads.

At DD's school, they have floor and fabric sanitizers that they spray down any bodily fluid that may end up where it's not supposed to be.

I guess they don't have them on airplanes...

So I used the three napkins she gave me and sat in a wet seat the whole flight. And boy, did it STINK. :scared:

You TOTALLY beat me to that!! :rotfl2: When I hear the word "stapler" all I can hear in my head is, "I do believe you have my stapler"

Milton is the best! :lmao:

I was starting to think I was the only one that loves Office Space ;)

Office space lover here. :woohoo: DH too.

He'll say things like "Yeah.. well... I'm just going to have to go ahead and ask you to do the laundry now. Its piling up in our bedroom and we have no where to sleep" in his best Bill Lumberg voice.

:lmao: Makes me want to suffocate him in his sleep, but I have to admit it DOES crack me up

I read that thread and responded. Some people are just insane. Spraying the entire room with Lysol? I have never done that and I have never gotten sick. What next...bug bombs just in case?

pssst... you need to put the remote control inside a ziplock baggie :rotfl2:

OMG, I read that thread and would never even think to do half the stuff those folks are doing. And I never get sick from not doing it. I have also heard of people bringing their own sheets, and washing down the bathroom..no thanks, I don't even do that at home. If I don't get sick there, I should be ok in a room where a maid came in and gave it a once over at least.

I know there are some nasty germs out there, but it really seems like we have become a nation of germophobes..

Now I am itchy from thinking about bedbugs...

Did anybody watch Dr. Phil the other day (hey - in his defense - as a counselor, I have to say that he does have some good get-in/get-out quick initiating solutions:confused3)? Anyway, I caught part of it, but enough to see a discussion with a woman who is such a germophobe that when she gets home from work, she won't even touch her daughter until she has a shower. She doesn't want to get any of her 'work germs' on her. All the poor little girl wants is a hug (she looked to be about 2 or 3)! And the other stuff she does - :scared1: - cleans her couch with a sanatizing wipe everyday!?!?!

All I can say is - my kids get hugs! :grouphug: (Their house may not be spotless, but at least their mommy hugs them! ;))

It feels like that. I'm so irritable and I don't know why. But it's not serving me well. I need a better outlook.

It's the cat. He is evil. :teacher:

Oy! Those people are scary. I wonder how often their kids get sick. Do they get sick less or about the same as a regular kids. Do you think they wrap their kids in bubble wrap before they go outside?

Today I have been such a Winner. I am taking a break and Husband hasn't rolled his eyes once.

I can't find Mr. No Fear's teddy bear. I have looked everywhere. I have been looking for 2 days. Today, I went to the church nursery and got the same one for him. He seems pleased with that one. He wanted to know if I got it for him for his birthday. Yep! Happy Birthday 5 months early. :rolleyes1

:cool1: Now, hopefully he will still remember this 5 months from now! :lmao:

He probably will. He has my ability to remember all kinds of things. I was just so happy that he liked that one. He is really picky about stuff so I wasn't sure how he would like the switcheroo. I think he was just happy to have a teddy bear.

Hmmmm....I don't know about that..the step-childern of the state certainly, but the crappy side?

Personally, I'm right in the armpit...I know that because of the stink when the legislator is in session.....they went home last night :cool1:

Yup, you made me think I was crazy, so I had to do some research.

February, 1991. Gov. Donald asked "How's that s---house of an eastern shore?"

People on this side of the bay got so mad, they started sending him toilet paper and calling for his impeachment. Now whenever it's brought up they don't use s---house, they say he compared us to an outhouse.

"Perhaps his most famous barb came in the winter of 1991, when Schaefer compared the Eastern Shore to an outhouse. When the remark circulated, Eastern Shore residents erupted in protest, even hoisting wooden outhouses and bags of manure on their pickup trucks and heading for the governor's mansion."

Kids and their "special" things. They get so attached to that old raggedy bear (or in my sons case, a blankie), and it's like they can't live without it!

I'm glad your DS is happy with the new teddy!

Hey there losers...

Wow what a statement for a Gov to make.:confused3

Have been sort of a winner today. Got up in the attic to try & clean up and organize. It was at cleancom 10 :scared1: Still a long way to go though. Need to finish switching winter/ summer clothes & fold & put away 4 baskets of clothes. Ugghhh.

JJ hope you get out of your funk!

Oh man--I am such a loser. I posted on the wrong thread--had more than one open in tabs:blush:

MN--you'd better post pics of your project so the rest of us losers can bask in your creativity!

RV--hope the night went well with 5 hours of sleep. Good luck today We'll say a prayer for you.

IAHD--what did you decide to send in for treats? Again, we need pics!

Just a quick catch-up before I send DS off to school. I think he's riding his bike today so I don't have to deal with all those people who drop their kids off and then sit in the line (one lane, no one can pass) until their little angel walks alllllllll the way to the front door. As if there aren't 20 teachers out there to make sure they get in the door!
I'm not bitter about it at all:rolleyes1

I think I'm gonna have to go to the gym today and I'm not looking forward to it. But I don't have a good excuse not to--crap. Right now, I need more coffee.

Yeah, well, it was a kit from Wal-Mart so not so much "creative" as it was 'cheap!' I'll take a pic~maybe use it as my 'other' avi for awhile...

MN was it you looking for something different for Mother's Day

http://www.ediblearrangements.com/A...D=1&StateID=&City=&Date=&Category=5&Occasion=

I forgot about this place, someone just did a thread about them. My mom and I have sent a couple and they have gone over well.

Yeah, my sis just did that for Mom last week for her birthday. It WAS a hit, but I would just look bad if I did it again. I went with the digital picture keychains. I was even nice enough to e-mail the siblings and ask for their fave pics of their kiddos to add as well. Now that doesn't mean I will actually ADD them, but since the sibs are horrible about sending pics anyway, maybe I can at least get an idea of what the nieces and nephews look like nowadays!

JJ--Cheer up! It's 'hump day!' :rolleyes1

My husband just called to chit chat about his summer wardrobe?? No, I really don't care what kind of shirts you wear during the summer....:lmao:
So, does your DH buy his own clothes? I took over that job several years ago and now it's mine. It's ok, because I like it. I don't like buying clothhes for myself anymore.

Add me to the failure list! OMG! And those people who complain about public swimming pools? WTH is their problem? I understand that baby pools are a little iffy, but my kids swim most days--most of it under water, and yes, they still drink their share of pool water:rolleyes: . Yet they do not get sick unless they are on an extended swim break. I also never lysol a hotel room and we don't get sick. I think as long as you wash your hands ferquently and keep them away from your face you'll be fine. I personally think the germophobes go too far.

I have been a semi-winner. I sorted thru all the donations and made a list (for tax purposes) so I can put the bags out for the VFW to pick up later this week. I also have washed the kids' sheets and vacuumed part of the house. I am off to Kohl's after school because DS informed me the other day that his tennnis shoes are too small. Oh well, it was asking too much for them to last the whole school year, anyway. At least I have a 30% off coupon, maybe I'll find something for DH's summer wardrobe;)

Oh my....

No, no...that just means it's WEDNESDAY! You know, get over the 'hump' of Wednesday to do the downhill slide into Friday. :)

Of course, for guys it COULD be something different...:upsidedow

<----Oh, check out the avi. Those are my 'creative' flower pots for the Grandmas. What do you think?
