Evening Losers.

I spent the day at Scottish Rite. DS6 had another seizure this morning... the first since he went on anti-convulsive meds in January. Lots of waiting and many tests later, they have determined that he has had a growth spurt in the past month and his meds weren't keeping up. They gave him a booster dose and upped his prescription and we are finally back home.

I haven't decided if I will send him to school tomorrow or not. Spring Break starts on Friday, so tomorrow is that last day of school for over a week. We'll see how things go in the morning.

:grouphug:

Tricia, I hope your little guy is feeling much better this morning. Tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the Losers......LOL I love the cakes, you did a great job! My birthday is tomorrow (28).....UGH! Will you make me a cake?

I was way to winnerish yesterday, I caught up on my laundry, cleaned the bottom floor including mopping and dusting, cooked a fabulous dinner (Robin's baked ravioli recipe...YUMMY) then went on a 9.4 mile bike ride.

 I wasn't a loser yesterday

You better eat all those goodies pretty quick, before they have you come in for your diabetes test...Not only did I have to give up drinking and coffee while I was pregnant, I couldn't even enjoy getting fat the last couple of months because along with my "advanced maternal age" (means I was old when I conceived..), they decided to saddle me with the label "gestational diabetes" and I couldn't even eat a cookie for the last 6 weeks...all so my baby wouldn't be too big they said...He was 6lbs2oz...they starved my baby!!

Then with DS#2 I passed 2 of the 4 tests which normally would be ok, but they said since I had GD with DS#!, they would just say that I had it again...he was 7lbs.2oz..

I go in for that at my next appointment April 22nd.

I will be in that advanced maternal age category with my next one if we wait a couple of years and decide to have #2. SO looking forward to that.

So far everything looks good. We'll see how much weight I gain between now and then. So far we're at just under 10 lbs, but that doesn't count the fact that I lost 3 in the beginning.

Morning Losers.

DS6 had a restless night. He woke up about 3am telling me his tummy hurt. Diarrea and vomiting followed. I don't know if it was the valium stuff the EMTs gave him for his seizure, or if he just has a stomach virus. I have a call in to the pediatric neurologists office because I can't get his anti-convulsive meds in him.

Gonna be another LONG day. I'll check back when I can.

LOVE the cakes!!

RVGal - sorry about DS. I say you both deserve a day at home.

Twinmom - Rollerskating. I love rollerskating!! Haven't been in years.

Nothing on the agenda today. I should do a few things around the house, wish it was going to be warm enough to walk the dog.

I did manage to sign up for BF and childbirth ed classes. They say they want you done with the classes a month before you're due, but my last class is just over 2 weeks before. I can see it now, I'll be in childbirth class and inform that instructor that it's time for a field trip next door to deliver this baby!!! OH well.

We're going to Topeka on Saturday for shopping. I wonder if I can talk DH into buying the crib and dresser this weekend? Not that we have anywhere to put it yet. Still need to get the guest room cleaned out. Oh well, I need some more maternity pants and Motherhood is the only place I've found short length ones. Of course it's almost an hour to the closest one.

Sorry that your son had a bad night. The valium they gave him is most likely what is causing it. We have a friend whos DD has seizures and after they give her valium she goes thru that. Lots of   for you and DS

Did they come out alright? 9 miles is a long bike ride.

Awww, give the little guy a loser hug. Give yourself one, too. :grouphug:

Clearly, someone with a true loser heart. ;)

YES!!, my family loved them. I used the cheese ravioli but I didn't realize how many ravioli came in a bag so next time I will use half a bag. We have ravioli coming out our ears...LOL

Do you ride a lot?

I leisurely ride my bike alot usually around 5 miles but yesterday I went sight seeing and took a nature trail. I heard about some bobcat sightings on the trail so I was curious. I did not see any bobcats yesterday.

Hey Lara...any word on when today's riddle is going to be posted? I need to give my brain something to do.
