Morning Losers!

What did I miss last night?

In celebration of the four day weekend, we kicked it off last night with "movie night" on the couch. We watched Enchanted. As usual, I feel asleep halfway through.

Morning Losers!!

Womp womp womp *****Inlaw ALert ****Inlaw Alert******Womp Womp womp

House is at Cleancom 7 must get house to Cleancom at least 2 by tomorrow.

The Inlaws are coming, tha Inlaws are coming. Eeek

That is all!

After this past Christmas, I've decided I'm no longer stressing when DH's parents come over my house being clean. Our versions of clean are very different. Supposedly FIL had vacuumed the guest room before we got there, but there were dead flies on the floor.

Same thing with the bathroom. Not sure how they manage to have dead flies in the shower in December. Plus FIL brought in wood shavings on his clothes from cutting wood, they remained on the bathroom rug the rest of the week.

We won't even go into the poop on the toilet seat, or the not flushing.

Now, I will worry about the cleancom level for others, just not the M&FIL.

Well see MIL is a true WINNER with OCD tendencies:scared1: and she has no filter:scared1: :scared1:

I have bribed my children.

I told them I will take them out for pizza, and then to the movies, if they clean this place up.

They're all excited. They actually want to clean. But it's probably a bad idea.

DS3 started unloading the dishwasher. And every two seconds, he'd bring me something and ask where this goes.

DS8 keeps saying, very loudly, "Oh My Gosh!!" Which is followed by "Mom, look what DS3 is doing!!"

He sprayed windex all over the coffee table, is trying to wipe it up with a sponge, and is making more of a mess.

Yeah, well, it is what it is.

Good Losers!

Thanks for noticing! ;)

Okay, so good morning, blah, blah, blah...Look, there is some SERIOUS snow going on right now and Mama is NOT happy! We have at least 3 inches already and it is still snowing like it is December. What the heck? Isn't it spring already? I mean, isn't expecting eight inches of snow like, the ANTI-Spring?? This bites.

In summary, if I disappear for long periods of time today, I am either
1) shoveling snow
2) staring blank-faced out the window in disbelief and sadness.

The ONLY plus-side to this is that the white snow make DD's Easter Window clings REALLY show up well. That is not exactly a plus, but it is the best I can muster right now. :sad1:

Hi, losers!

Again, I haven't read back... just saying hi. I had a fantastic day yesterday with my husband (he didn't forget  ), and I have a ton of crap to do today. I need a veg day to just chill. Hmmm. Not gonna happen.

I hope you all are doing well. I see in-law alerts :scared: , talk of poo on the seat, and a link that I probably should not click on. Looks like y'all have been busy!

Hey all.
Twosome in daycare, oldest at friend's house, I'm feeling ok as of this moment so I'm off to get their Easter present. Hopefully I will be lucky & the bug skips me. Oh who am I kidding, with my luck, since I haven't gotten sick yet today I will probably be sick on Easter :sad2: & I was gonna be brave and take the kids out for Easter dinner to Ruby Tuesday ALL BY MYSELF

Mornin' losers!

I just ate a pop tart for breakfast--yum! DD had rice krispie treat. That's just like cereal, right? It is gray and cloudy here today, after almost 70 yesterday and I am bummed. But not as bummed as you MNFM! I am glad we aren't supposed to get any snow! We joke about it snowing on DD's bday Sunday, and it might (flurries) but I really am ready for some warm weather!

Shore--just go ahead and let the kids clean how they want. If you correct them it will be crushing their spirit (or something like that) and you'd hate to do that:rolleyes1 . Just tell anyone that looks at it funny that they were so proud of their work you didn't want to hurt them. You get credit for being a good, thoughtful mom, and for teaching them how to clean! ;)

For all of you cleaning for inlaws, etc, I feel for ya. I am happy now that none of our family is coming for a visit.:woohoo:

Oh, it's staying the way it is.

Now they're bugging me. Is it time to go? Can we leave now?

Um, no, we have 2 hours and you're still in your underwear.

I am totally going to steal some of the Princess Bride stuff one of these days.

I'm about to go to DS6s kindergarten class egg hunt and party.

I have to finish cleaning the house and prepping the food today and tomorrow.

I started getting out our Easter decorations yesterday. I have a resurrection set (think nativity scene, but Jesus and the tomb instead of Jesus and the manger) and when I took it out of the box, Jesus' hands fell off. :scared1:

Everyone else still has hands. Jesus is the only one. If I get time, I'll post pictures. It freaked me out for awhile, but I think I'm over it.

I'll be here off and on, but probably more off than on. Have a good day!

Hey Shore...any update on Hisser?

Nope, DS8 checked out the pantry, and he didn't see anything either.

Maybe it was all in my mind.

I still have a hard time going into the pantry. You should see me doing my stretchy lean into the pantry so I don't actually have to walk in there.

Feet planted firmly on the kitchen floor, left hand holding onto the doorway, leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean as far as I can, while trying to reach whatever it is I need with my right hand.

Morning Losers,

I am trying to help son with Calliou online. I think I am going to punch Calliou. :badpc:

I can totally relate. When we had that mouse in the garage I made all kinds of noise everytime I had to go out there and moved VERY fast! Because that tiny little mouse might get me. Our garage has been renamed Disneyland (but the mouse is gone, AFAIK)

Speaking of kids shows...

Yesterday, DS3 was watching TV in the living room. He left and went upstairs, so I changed the channel.

He came back, 15 or so minutes later, and got mad. Wanted to know why I changed the channel and where were the "backyard Mexicans"?

He meant Dora and Diego!! He called them the backyard Mexicans!!

We're surrounded by Mexicans, we have some that work for us, and my brother married a Mexican girl, so my DS has 3 half-Mexican cousins. He already knows a little Spanish, he calls the women that work for us the "muchachas" and he loves them.

But it just left me wondering where on earth he came up with that name for them??

DS2 says something that sounds like backyard mexicans for Backyardigans... but for Dora & Diego, I can't help you there.

I was thinking of The Backyardagains too.

When Dora is on the spainsh channel does she teach english?
