Morning all,

Actually got a semi-decent nights sleep last night. Went to bed before 10 and woke up with my alarm. However...will someone tell me why my sheets can't stay on my bed? I woke up to find that the right side had come off and I was laying half on bare mattress and half on my sheets. If I put them back they just come undone. It's like I am making my bed everyday. That sucks.

Queenie I feel your pain about your purse. Last St Patties Day I was at a bar with friends and I come out at 1 in the morning to find my drivers side window smashed. My purse had been sitting on the passenger seat in full view but luckily it was still there with all my credit and debit cards still in it. Cost me $237 to replace the window and they did a crappy job at it. Doesn't go up all the way and the lock doesn't pop up anymore. I hope you get a better glass replacement place than I did.

And now...I am ready for another boring day at work.

It's a long drawn out drama deserving of some soap opera award.

Brother hooked up with a stripper, SIL left him and took the kids, he didn't care, they were getting divorced this month, decided to cancel that and get a legal seperation instead (Lord knows why?), Bro is soon to be moving in with stripper girlfriend and her 3 kids (even though he still hugs and kisses and tells SIL he loves her), while SIL wants to send their 3 kids to Mexico to live with her mom while she stays here, kids currently living with my Bro (who still lives at home with mommy and daddy) 6 days a week, yet he pays $640 a month in child support, kids being taken care of 4 days a week by my mother who is busy having herself an affair and claims she doesn't want to be a wife to my dad anymore although they still live together. The entire family (minus me) is on meds.

DS3 has pink eye. That's quite enough drama for me.

You need to write a book about all the family drama...I think we all should and publish it!

Even though my night ended sour....I did beat my husbands booty at pedro(a cajun card game) 63 to -12 !!!!!

He stayed out later than me, came home and told me(sleeping) that he completed the really hot wing challange...I guess he expected me to ???

I'm just glad that I don't have to see him till Saturday...b/c I'm sure he will be stinking up the place!

Now I just have to get myself moving, still sleepy haven't had my coffee yet.

Job is going well! It is weird being off at night now, even though I am putting in basically the same amount of hours, because it's all at once vs. being split between AM & PM I end up with more time to get things done. I think we'll actually end up SAVING money in the long run because I can't do frivolous shopping with DH around. Good and bad I used to be able to hit the stores w/o DH but now that we're on the same schedule he wants to come with and prevents me from random shopping - you know those after holiday sales & such.

Has your housing been privatizeed yet? I was just talking to a new neighbor who just moved out of housing and she said they were privatized and had civilian/military all in the neighborhood. That would be weird to me. She also said they will be charging for utilities. That would suck.

I hate that! I told DS he wasn't getting any new jeans this year so he wither has to stop growing or hope for warm weather so he can wear shorts.

Dh and I went to Panera for a bagel this morning. He can only work 40 hours/week and only needed 12 more as of Monday night. He's been around a lot lately. It's driving me crazy! I figure I have about 4 hours til he's back home--he was going to work from home but then decided he'd go in to the office to show his face (Thank God)

I told him some brave men were on our thread and he could join. He just laughed at me Oh well--more fun for me!

We just switched over in Oct. & the charging for utilities won't start till all the housing areas (we have about 5 areas) are rebuilt or fixed up. They say that will be around 2010.
We won't be in this house that long, we are looking at getting our own house soon.

HRH I am so sorry about your car and purse but yes you and the kids being safe is all that matters. I have know that feeling. When I was in college my car got broken into a lot, it was such a feeling of violation.

Thanks I am hoping things go better today. I called the school to let them know I thought the guy was stalking me, and could have possibly been waiting on the sidewalk to grab my purse if I had it with me. I worry now about the women who walk out to their car alone..

OK--DH had called me 3 times already today and he's only been gone for less than 2 hours. It's gonna be a loooonnnnnggg day!

I think I am going to apply for a job today. It's for a part-time Para in the school's High Ability Learner program. Only about 20-25 hours per week, only when the kids are in school. I think it would be right for me. I still think about subbing, but am just not sure yet(I think I have been out of the classroom too long and afraid those kids would eat me up and chew me out) Subbing pays better and I could set my own schedule, but the kids don't want me to sub any of their classes and I can't really blame them. And I'm not willing to drive all over town to another district so this might be good for me. Wish me luck!

Well I got a boost of energy and got the laundry sorted and started washing.
I had to Febreeze #1DS's hamper. I guess the age of stinky (literal not the stinky DD calls them) boys has begun What are me and DD gonna do when it's both boys then we are out numbered.

While I have only actually lived in base housing once...I know what you mean. When we moved to Germany they put us in a 3 bedroom apartment...however since the Generals and other higher ups on Generals Row didn't want their kids playing with enlisted kids...Generals Row was on the other side of the playground...all the officers had to move to enlisted housing while all the enlisted folks got to live in the big apartments that had balconies and such on the other side of the base. Not that we complained or anything...it was better than trying to live on the economy off base.
