well that stinks:hug:

isnt there a joke that FORD stand for Found On Road Dead.

BMW Baby! :thumbsup2

It is my car of choice...even though I would never buy one for myself...too expensive. I have one that is going on 13 years old and 146000 miles and the total of all the major repairs I have had to do in the past 4 years since getting my car is $2100. Not too shabby.

My other favorite car are Nissans. I had one of those too...very nice cars and they last forever.

I'M DONE, I'M DONE, I'M DONE!!!!!

Hello Lovely LOSERS. Let's see, supposed to snow today in Maryland, New Mexico and maybe Oregon. That's a pretty big piece of winter. Let's go to Hawaii. Mai Tais on the beach, anyone?

I live in New Mexico...no snow here. Weathermen are a bunch of liars.

Weathermen are a bunch of liars.
That's how it is here, too. It snows so rarely in Portland that if there's even a teeny chance it might, we hear about it non-stop for days and then - nothing. If by chance it does snow one flake, the TV stations send crews out to do live reports. An 1/8" accumulation and it's like it's blizzard conditions. The only time it really snows is when they don't see it coming.

If it was about 10 degrees colder here it would be snowing. It looks like perfect weather outside for it : windy, cold & grey looking. Supposed to get down to the 20's tonight with the wind chill making it feel like it's in the teens. It's more possible for the far western part of the county to get some snow than our part, but the school districts rule out here is that if one part of the county is closed for snow so is the rest of the county. I would love a long weekend again.

So I think I am not going to class tonight. I have all the homework done and it balances so I think I will email my teacher the files and make up an excuse so I can stay home and veg out. Maybe take a loooooooooooong hot bath. Watch a movie or play a game. Something like that. Heck I might even cook...you never know.

I forgot what I was going to say.

That's what I get for walking away from the computer while waiting for a page to load...then DS came into my room and wasn't breathing well, so I had to neb him, then I came downstairs to start dinner, now I have no idea why I hit "reply".

Hi losers,
Well LauraK you are having a bad day. Sorry to hear that. Yes it can be trantrum Thursday. I my self throw one today. But it was at my health Insurcance company. They did not want to pay for a new med for my Lupus and jerked my dr around for a week. So today when he called me to tell that I lost it. So I called and kicked a little butt and now I have my new med.:woohoo: My Dr was shocked. But I told him I was not feeling well and I needed to punish someone for my bad week at work.

And I thought I was the only one who did this:rotfl2:

I had a Tantrum Thursday moment today..picked up the boys and drove out to Michaels after school. I was making a left hand turn off of a 4 lane hwy, and from a STOP sign a guy pulls out in front of me from my right and completes his journey across the entire 4 lanes..I beeped my horn LOUD and LONG, and he turns around and flips me off!!! Well, as luck would have it, we were going to adjacent stores..and I parked (not on purpose) 3 spaces down from him. I cannot keep my mouth shut to save my life, so when he walks by me and smirks..(he is about early 20's), I have to say, "You need to go back to driving school and learn something about right-of-way". He says something, and then I really get ticked.."YOU HAVE SOME NERVE FLIPPING ME OFF WHEN YOU ARE THE ONE WHO RAN A STOP SIGN!!!" He just laughs and keeps on walking, then shouts over his shoulder, "What are you gonna do about it?" I said, "you're an idiot." and went into Michael's...now very quickly because I am thinking he will do something to my car...I am waiting in line, he comes into the store, walks up and touches my arm, and says....get this...."I'm sorry". I was so shocked I almost fell over. I said, "Thank you"..(Is that proper?..I don't know I was stunned.) So I go out to my car with my boys, he drives by, opens his window and says it again....I just said, "well I get kind of defensive with my boys in the car..and you did run a stop sign..) He said he understood..

Wow...an apology with no "buts" , or anything...I'm still in shock..

So I had a tantrum...for Thursday. I think I was justified..can't wait to see what Flip it Friday holds for me.

RE: Fords.. I have been in a Ford only family for my whole life. My dad worked there for 40 years. My last two experiences with Fords have left me very unhappy. I had an Expedition that needed new brakes after 29,000 miles. Unheard of, needed new rotors, too. Then with my 2005 Freestyle, I needed new brakes after 19,000 miles...and new rotors..who expects to have to replace brake pads that early..Plus, there were problems on a bunch of blogs regarding this early need for replacement, but Ford refused to cover it under warranty..so we had to pay $500 to repair. Immediately began looking at other cars. Bought my first Toyota an FJ Cruiser..I LOVE IT!!!!! After I bought it, Ford sent a letter stating that replacement brakes were being offered for Freestyle because of early wear...:headache: ..So they reimbursed us, I told them they have lost a customer..no more Fords for us because of this hassle..I drove up in my new Toyota to get my reimbursement...;)

Of course, DH had to make a liar out of me, and bought a used Harley Davidson Truck out in Montana...hope we can stay out of the repair shop...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this will be our last Ford.

I am about to throw a tantrum. On Sunday I was at my parents house and I hooked up my personal media player to my Dad's computer and transferred to my player the video I took from my last Disney vacation. I have Illuminations, Hallowishes, the Boo to You Halloween parade, Fantasmic and a bunch of rides. To transfer all those videos it took my dad's computer 5 min tops. To transfer from the player to my computer...half a freaking hour. What is up with that.

I wouldn't transfer them but I have to convert them to a small resolution so they will actually play on my player. I want to annoy people at work with my vacation videos.

:rolleyes1 Hmmmm....did you pickle your brain cells as much as I did mine??

I blame it on my kids.
I always say that after each one was born they each took a part of my brain & some of my energy. No wonder I'm always sooo tired

Fords :crazy2: ... :snooty: We are a Chevy loving family. We have always had a Chevy truck since we have been married. A year and a half ago I gave DH the truck & he traded his Jeep in to get me my HHR (Chevy's version of the PT Cruiser, but much better) so I would have a newer reliable vehicle (truck's a '99 with about 65,000 miles on it) while he was deployed.
