The longer I try to figure things out the more confused I get.

We are going to 8/2-8/9 with DH, ME, DD11, DD8. FIL, and MIL. We will not arrive at MCO until 11:40pm so by the time we arrive at PC it will be well into the morning on 8/3.

My FIL has narcelepsy and has problems getting around in the morning. I too am not much of a AM person, but can force myself to get up and around. We are more late night people, so I am thinking that maybe we might not do EMH. However, I have looked over the EMH days and busiest days for each park, and still cant seem to figure out when to go where. How do I decide if I go to one park for the morning and another in the afternoon. If I am avoiding EMH, why not do one park each day? HELP I"M GOING NUTS!!!!

My MIL wants to go to a beach one day and we have one day we need to go to SW. Other than that this is what we have scheduled.

8/2 Arrive very late 11:40pm
8/3 Ice Cream Social 3:10pm
Illuminations Cruise
8/4
8/5
8/6
8/7
8/8
8/9 Chef Mickey Character Bkft 9:40am
Probably DTD
Fly home 5:15pm

I NEED YOUR HELP!!! I FEEL TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON ME.

If you guys are night people then I wouldn't stress about doing any of the EMH that are offered. If you relax in the am, head to the parks for the afternoon and evening you'll still be able to experience plenty since the park crowds are never as bad at night as they are in the afternoon.

We are strictly one park a day sort of people. Just makes it all a bit less stressful to focus on one park at a time.

Try not to stress too much...somehow it all works out :)

Since you are going to be in Epcot on Tues anywayone idea would be for you to do Epcot that day. However, Tues is my fav day to do AK, and you could reasonably finish there by early afternoon allowing you to still get to Epcot in time for your PS.

My strongest recomendation is to do MK on Weds. Don't know why, but it always seems to be the best day there. Friday morning is good there too, but just until like noon and then the crowds get to me.

For Saturday, I would suggest either Epcot as it is big and seems to absorb the crowds well, or choosing that for your beach day. Whatever you don't choose for that day, I would do on Sunday. Personally I would lean toward Epcot Sat and beach on Sunday.
That leaves you either Mon or Thurs for MGM and also time to revisit your favorites.

Beware, you may get more suggestions than you want and end up even more confused!!

Have a great time!

It would help to know what passes you have.

There is a rule of thought for people staying off-site and those that do not wish to take advantage of EMH, to stay away from those parks, as they tend to be more crowded mid-morning to early afternoon. I personaly think that by 2:30 ish, things have leveled out across all the parks.

The other thing you could take advantage of would be the E-nights. For $12 more per person, you can stay for an addtl. 3 hrs in MK after it closes to the public. That would take some of the pressure off as far as MK goes. I've found that the other parks are much more manageable later in the day. Otherwise, head for the park that is not EMH for that day, especially if it's MK. When it's EMH at MK the other parks are much less crowded. Otherwise, just relax and enjoy. Don't try to do everything. Unless you're staying for a month, you'll never come close to seeing/doing it all!!!

I clicked post before I added the rest of my message.

Maybe the schedule will help. I would go with the advice of the "non" EMH people. I know there's lots that like to sleep in. Perhaps you could get FP's for the big rides and while you wait for them, do the less crowded rides. You'll be at EPCOT the first day. I wouldn't do anything much before the ice cream social, you might need sleep and time to get organized if you get in that late. When you get to EPCOT grab a FP for something, do the ice cream social and go from there.

You could avoid the EMH parks and pick one each of your first 4 days. Use FP's, fitting in the others and see what you get done. Then you have two days to revamp, and go back for any rides you missed.

More than anything I'd do the night time shows though. You are doing Illuminations, then two other nights for the other two, and that still gives you 3 nights to do rides during the night time shows. If you're night people, that might be a good time to get some good ones in too.

We took the advice of the folks at the Unofficial Guide and went to MK on a Saturday morning. According to their book and website, Saturday is one of the best days to attend the MK in the summer because the locals stay away and most people think it will be really busy. It was our best morning there. We went Friday, Saturday and Sunday to MK, and Saturday was the best day. We were walking onto a lot of rides until 1 pm when we had to leave. We came back at 5 pm and the crowds were back up to the level they had been on the other days, but my vote would be to do MK on Saturday and get there as soon as you can get yourself moving in the morning. If I were going to try to push myself to get up in the morning to get to a park early, I would definately push myself to get to the MK. I don't think it is as imperative at the other parks. We aren't park hoppers, we enjoy going to one park on one day.

Don't know why, but we have been on several different days and Tues always seems to be the least crowded. Perhaps it is because EE is on Monday so many of the onsite guests have been there the day before.
