Does anyone know what (if any) changes they might be making to the Living Seas? I'm especially concerned about the Nemo things. I love the movie, "Finding Nemo" and spent a good half hour in that room. And what about "Turtle Talk with Crush?" Is it just a major maintenance, or are they going to make changes?

I believe it is a routine maintenance thing. As someone who owns a relatively small satwater tank, I can attest to the fact that maintenance is HUGE, and they may be doing mechanical maintenance as well as cometic work. I dont THINK it is anything huge.

is the whole area boarded off or just the pavillion. we have seen photos of the nemo models outside, and want to know if we'll still be able to see these, as i'd love to get a picture of them with my ds

The entire Living Seas is closed. You will not be able to enter at all.

However the models are still visible. They are not technically "attatched" to the living seas. They are "near" it. So you will see them as normal with no problems.

We were there last week and they had the entire exhibit closed. The Nemo models outside were open and Nemo was out and about for meets. I really wanted to see the tank so we had lunch at the Coral Reef restaurant. I was less than impressed with the food and expense of the restaurant. Also you only get to see a small portion of the tank. I was glad we got to see some of the tank but would not go back there again.

Also Our waiter told us that the refurb includes making the sea cabs operational again. It will be interesting to see what they end up doing with it.

It's definitely going through a huge change - Rumors all state its for Nemo, but I don't know how many times all the rumors had pointed to one thing and it ended up being another....the Living Seas was nearly empty last time we went...it's DEFINITELY going thorugh a major change, but no one knows exactly what it is yet

Since Crush is in the Living Seas the crowds have picked up. It used to be a ghost town in there but the Nemo theming and Crush have helped. It will be interesting to see what they do.
