I'm an annual passholder and I missed the soft opening...
Been waiting for this ride for FOREVER now. I'm the BIGGEST TLM fan ever - I think it's a redhead thing.

Anyway, I'm planning to ride it on June 7th, next Tuesday. It's the only thing I want to do, so I will dedicate my whole morning to it. DCA opens 10 am, what time do you suggest I arrive? Does a big line form in the mornings now? I'm willing to be there from 6 am onward, if necessary...

Also, there is a MM from 7-8, does that affect DCA at all?

You are correct that DCA opens at 10am officially, you know that DCA lets the regular guests in 30 minutes early before the parks opens. The rope drop is right next to the LM ride and does get big crowds when the guests are waiting till the rope drop. Mostly the guests are there for TSMM, but when I did it on Sunday there was quite a crowd of people heading on over to the LM ride. When I got off the ride, the lines started to go up and I believed the wait time was around 30-40 minutes. You can show up at the ride when the park opens during the rope drop. If you don't want to wait in a long line, I would show up at least 10 minutes until the rope drop.

Just a little word of caution.

Resort guests are going to be let in early to ride LMAUA. Since they will have to walk through the area next to LMAUA that is currently where the Rope Drop to Paradise Pier takes place. How that rope drop works may change.

Right now when you enter DCA at 9:30 you can get a WoC Show Pass, a Soaring FP and ride Soarin. And of course go to three different rope drop areas.

How this will be affected by those resort guests is yet to be seen. Hopefully some people can report on the process over the weekend.

Either way she'll wait. Wait till the park opens and get right on *maybe* or show up not quite so early and wait the same amount of time *just in line for the ride, not outside the park.

That's what I figured! Guess I'll just have to make a mad dash when it opens. That way maybe I can ride it twice.

We went yesterday for the soft opening.
