Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if you have to pay to see The Lion King? We didnt get to see it last year and I would really like to see it this year.

You don't have to pay. You can either queue up to get tickets at specific times and then queue up again to get seats in the auditorium or, as we did both times we've seen it, get a meal or a drink and sit in Videopolis just behind the seats near the stage and watch from one of the tables in the restaurant area. We've had brilliant views each time - and no queueing.

Thanks for that information Diana. I am really looking forward to seeing it especially now I know you dont have to pay :rotfl2:
I hope we have good views too!

I did the queuing for tickets in July and it was well worth it, wonderful show - just wish we could have caught it a second time!

Its a brilliant show. DH queued for it in August and we managed to get front row seats. Even though there was an orderly queue and we were first, it became a rugby scrum as soon as the doors opened and DH had to leg it to get the seats as everybody was pushing past him.:crowded: Although it was great to sit in the front row ( my youngest DD had her hand shaken by Simba which really made her day :sunny: ) next time we do this we will watch from the Videopolis.

How early do you reckon you would have to grab a table to get a good view from Videopolis? That definitely sounds like a better idea than queueing up for tickets, and it would be ideal to watch it whilst eating your tea!

As others have said it is a brillant show. We also bagged front row seats the first time we saw this and then in the summer watched it from Videopolis.
I'd try to get the tickets for your first time. You will not be disappointed :)

We saw it from Videopolis last December. If you go in the week you'll be able to get a really good view less than half an hour before it starts (at weekends you won't even get in the door of Videopolis!!!)

We arrived bang on 12 o'clock for lunch. Although we were seated at the back we had a good view. Have a look at trippie as we went when park was fairly busy :)
