"The Lion King" musical is phenomenal!

DH (ScubaD) and I went to "The Lion King" musical last night in Seattle. It was breathtaking, fantastic, incredible...I could go on!

If you haven't had a chance to catch this musical, and it's playing at a location by you, I would HIGHLY recommend it!

We're going to New York City at the end of next month and have tickets to "Mary Poppins". Now I'm extra excited to see another Disney Broadway production. This will be my 3rd as I also went to "Beauty and the Beast" on Broadway four years ago.

You're right! We saw "Lion King the Musical" on Broadway 2 years ago and we still talk about how great it was. Awesome show.

Isn't is just awesome? I took my oldest dd to see it a few years ago when it was in Chicago...& she still says it was the best show she's ever seen! (& we've seen many - Wicked, Cats, LesMis, etc)...

I would love to see it on Broadway!

Even cooler, the woman Julie Taymor, who created it was in my acting classes in Boston when I was a young teen!!!!
She was talented even back then and played Cinderella in the Boston Children's Theater production in the late 60s.

She is indeed beyond talented! I was in awe with the costuming!

It is truly amazing. I saw it on Broadway many years ago and thought the costumes were awesome it was wild the way the actors disapeared into the animals. I also saw Mary Poppins last year and it is very good as well. I would love to see The Little Mermaid soon.

I love The Lion King musical! I've seen it three times --- once in Spokane, once on Broadway and just a couple of weeks ago in Arizona.

Just went to it a few weeks ago in NYC! Made it my 3 1/2 yo son's first B'way show. Unfortunately my 7 yo got sick on the way there and dh had to take him home (we live near NYC, no prob there), so dh and 7 yo missed it We are lucky to know someone in the show and got to look around backstage with this person afterward, even ran into "Mufasa" as we all were leaving...just utterly magical for my son...he *still* talks about it.

We talk about going back there again just about every day, but next time as the foursome we were supposed to be first time around! There will be lots of handwashing in the days leading up to it next time, for sure...

Magic! Go if you can!

The Lion King musical was some of the best money I have ever spent - - - twice. We saw it in St. Louis and Nashville. GO SEE IT!

I seen the Lion King Musical in september I loved it I laughed, Cried, sung the songs. I recomend that everyone see it you will not be disapointed for the Lion King musical

I am so excited. The Lion King is coming to OKC in April. I bought tickets last year so we could get really good seats. I can hardly wait. It is nice to hear that it is worth it .
