Whoa! What a day!

The family is all gone! The presents all unwrapped. The kitchen is spotless.

The terrorists really enjoyed their first Christmas/Hanukkah with me. I plan to keep them around for a while. They rather enjoyed the mixture of cultures!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season. No matter what you do or do not celebrate!

Ohhh...and so I don't fall down on my duty...

Today was a ton of fun, but I'm exhausted, too much traveling, too little time.

Of course you do, my cat likes to try to climb through my tree even though she's 15 pounds & still growing! She thinks she still a young kitten LOL.... The things they do.... But then she plays fetch and that's way too cute.

I cannot believe I am still awake, it is insane.... DD woke me up early to open gifts (of course), it's amazing to me they can go through so many presents in like half an hour!! How do they do that???

This was a major victory for Al Franken. Basically the Supreme Court told Coleman that he had no proof for his claims of double ballots being counted and that he better come up with some real proof if he wants to bring an election contest. There was some sort of agreement between the Franken campaign and the Coleman campaign on counting wrongfully rejected absentee ballots. It looks very good for Franken winning this race despite all of the lawsuits filed by Coleman.

I think I know who is going to be first in the line requesting a refund tomorrow - Isaac Robert Toussie's father. I sure hope he kept the receipt.

For those unfamiliar with the latest bit of news, President Bush pardoned Mr Toussie (after he was somehow put on the fast track to a pardon) and then rescinded the pardon once the press published the amount his father had contributed to the RNC.

Well, he almost bought his son a pardon. Damn that MSM!!

Of course you do, my cat likes to try to climb through my tree even though she's 15 pounds & still growing! She thinks she still a young kitten LOL.... The things they do.... But then she plays fetch and that's way too cute.

15 pounds? Now that's a big cat! Our dogs were very destructive as puppies. They chewed holes in the furniture and in the walls! There's nothing like hearing a gnawing sound and walking in a room to find a dog using the corner of a coffee table as a chew toy! We've repainted and replaced the furniture in the room they destroyed. They just turned two years old and no longer chew up the furniture!

I've always wanted a Golden! That was one of our top choices before we settled with these two monsters -- er... beautiful Shelties. It's funny because they will come up and bark at me for something and I joke around and say, "What is it? Did Timmy fall in the well again?" They just talk and talk! Shelties look just like collies only smaller. They are very smart! Sometimes DH and I have to spell around them because if they hear certain words, they react and expect something to happen based on what they heard.

I lost my 14 year old Golden, Jenny, 18 months ago. She never had a bad moment..Great dog!

That's so funny to hear about your dogs Too bad about the furniture though (sorry)... glad they're not doing that anymore though! Thank goodness.

Yup, our cat is 15 pounds, she's a Maine Coon. Since she's a girl she'll ultimately stay in the 15-18 pound range, our boy was big at 22 pounds. Those are some big cats but we love having them, although the boy is gone now.... She's a joy....
