Guys, we aren't doing anything! It's just too difficult with the twins and getting a sitter and being in the middle of the week, but my husband knows what I want (and he has agreed to a little something called BLT and I'm not talking about the sandwich).

Honestly, I almost forgot. He is a very good husband and an excellent father though, so I guess I can't complain.

And we are having leftover meatloaf for dinner.

The points are painfully high, I think, although I only have a vague idea of what other resorts charge. Also, it is contingent upon passing the Bar in July, so I have something to motivate me to study; this was my husband's entire intent as he wants me to get a job!

Honestly, it's hard to study with three little kids running around and I'm having trouble getting it together. This way, I've got something tangible other than "a job" after I pass. Although if I flunk, at least it would make a nice consolation prize, while I'm crying on the floor.

So, fellow liberals, what's your take on the Hamas incursions and the Israeli invasion that's gracing the world with it's evil at the moment?

My opinion? Both sides have much to take to the table. Israel is not wholly innocent for the sake of being innocent and Hamas must be prepared to recognise Israel's right to exist.

Israel is not wholly innocent for the sake of being innocent and Hamas must be prepared to recognise Israel's right to exist.

There is a pretty nasty thread, right now, discussing this -- so nasty that I won't even put in my moderate perspective (which isn't much different from yours).

My only significant contribution to that thread was relaying that my church's minister is recently back from a visit to the area (he was there just before Thanksgiving), and is doing two sermons over the next two weeks (transcripts and podcasts will be available online). The whole thing is just so depressing.

I stay out of those threads now. I don't want to change someone's mind, but if I can't learn something from them and they can't learn something from me, what's the point? It's not worth the aggravation.
