Wow - I can't believe it is over. I have scheduled all my ADRs for our August trip. We got really lucky and got everything that we wanted. :cheer2: But now I feel sort of a let down, after so much anticipation, worry, :scared:excitement, etc. - I don't know what to do! :lmao: Just wait to eat all the yummy food! Anyone else feel this way? :confused3

Hi. I guess I sort of get that feeling. It's like I plan and decide what to do for days on end, and once the ADR's are done, there's not much more to do for the trip. Plus, there's still a pretty long time before we leave. Part of the fun, is in the planning. There's not much fun, in the waiting. :rotfl2:

I hope I will feel that way after making my ADR's. Right now I am a basket case and I still have to wait 3 days!!!

:cool1:Same here I make my ADR's tomorrow morning. It being a holiday and all I bet I will be on the phone forever. I dont' care as long as I can get CM as it is my boys favorite and a must do for them. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Good Luck Everyone. :goodvibes

HaHa I spent yesterday, yes the whole day yesterday, making ADRs. The computer fiasco Disney had dictated my plans for the day. I never thought I would spend an entire day trying to get dining reservations. Somehow it became an obsession. I finished around 8PM and got everything we wanted! After it was done though I didn't know what to do with myself.:confused3

And what was the first thing I did today? I came on the Disboards and looked at the dining thread

I need to find another obsession to tide me over until our trip in August....

Congratulations on getting your ADR's..I'm looking forward to the "letdown" (hopefully I will be happy too), I am tired of having a knot in my stomach over making reservations. Being a Disney overplanner, I liked making my ADR's 180 ahead better.
Maybe now you can make your packing list(if you haven't already) :goodvibes

Now it's time to make your packing list!

This and if you're really crazy, start coordinating everyone's outfits with each other and the appropriate ADR! (Ex. Chef Mickey's- Minnie and Mickey outfits, O'hana- Hawaiian/Mickey outfits, etc.) You can buy or make Tshirts, shop at Disneyshopping.com... This can take longer than figuring out your ADR's!

... not that I do this or anything....

I know exactly what you mean i will probably go through the same thing after i make mine on Tuesday. I have been getting up the past few nights in the middle of the night (thinking about making my ADRs:rotfl:)how pathetic is that? This whole weekend, especially today i have been full of very nervous energy like i am actually really looking forward to 7:00 Tuesday morning.
HOpefully i will get what i want and then i plan to celebrate the rest of the day.

You think that's a let down? Wait until it's the night before you leave WDW. . . now THAT'S a let down! :rotfl: but really :sad1:

irunnoft, I was thinking the same thing! I enjoy figuring out the ADRs, and then I roughly plan the schedule for each day, read the DIS, offer any insights that I might have......no letdown for me until we are leaving WDW.......Then it is a MAJOR letdown........:goodvibes

i think im addicted to planning out every detail to my vacations and dont want it to end. Even in the years past i would research for months, book hotels, get bored because i had nothing to do and then i would find other hotels or plans & cancel many many times for months leading up to our vacations. i would be very let down when i thought i was done planning

I agree, that is the real let down. I always say I want to live at WDW.

I know exactly how you feel. I couldn't sleep well last night, afraid that I would oversleep this morning and miss the 7AM call in time. And when I was asleep, I had dreams about Disney.

So, I wake up on my own at 6:30 this morning and I was able to call in on time and get all the ADRs that I wanted. Then I crashed for an hour and a half - slept better than I did all night. At least I can finally relax...everything is done!

I definately know how you feel. I made my ADR's 3 weeks ago, and have struggled with the next step over that time. Slowly I am settling in to figuring out what I need to pack and bring. What needs to be carry-on, and what should go in the suitcase.

When I get closer, I will focus on the rides that are a No-No with my little princess princess: (need preschool appropriate rides, taking into account fears and motion sickness) and her mom (who has issues with water and fire).

I made ADRs yesterday - I was on a serious Disney-high for the rest of the day, so excited that it was more successful than I had anticipated, and "normal" dining times. After that, I looked at the families section of the board and there's a thread about planning meals and activities at home with Disney themes - I'm definitely going to try and jazz things up for my family on the countdown...89 more days to go!
