The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow to close on November 6th

Wait....what?

Yeah, we were among the early curiosity seekers who stood in line for almost an hour to see this thing. We were also among the majority in the room who thought it was just a pre-show to a better attraction as we moved towards the other door when it was over and then found ourselves back out on the street saying "that was IT?".

I won't miss it tbh. DD8 was the "key holder" last time which was nice, and we had a nice vantage point but to be honest it's not the best...

All these closures tho, what's going to be at HS next Aug??

us too. we waited like an hour and a half and then the pain and disappointment of seeing it was a standing attraction completely overshadowed any awesomeness the show had. the line was long, the show was short, but seriously? removing yet another thing to do from HS?

i wish they'd quit pulling attractions from my already half day scheduled park. i've got disneyquest scheduled in the other half of the day but they keep pulling stuff, i'm not sure we can spend that much time at DQ.

I heard in the Dis Unplugged podcast that even the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights might be on it's way out, since there's speculation of the streets of America being removed for more Star Wars stuffs.. I really hope that one isn't true!! I haven't seen it yet but it looks so beautiful ! I really hoped to see it one day.

A persistent rumor that is at least two years old. I wouldn't worry until we hear something definite about SW.
