In your experience, what bar soap is the least "scummy"?
And for the record, Irish Spring is terrible!

Even the ones with lotion or moisturizers are horrible. I want to feel clean, and then put on my own lotion & moisturizers.
It leaves so scum behind and works great! In your experience, what bar soap is the least "scummy"?

Lush makes some great soaps and they have lots of different scents. They are a little pricey, but if you keep the soaps out of the shower when they aren't in use they'll last a while. My favorite is Honey, I Washed the Kids. It says on the site it smells like toffee, I don't really think so. It's definitely a yummy scent though and not over powering. They have tons and tons of scents to choose from so take a peek!: http://www.lushusa.com/shop
My Grandfather always used Irish Spring...I always wanted to carve it like they did in the commercial.*AKL Megs, you are way too young to remember that*
.whatever you do, DON'T buy ivory! ivory bar soap leaves the thickest soap scum on my tub i've ever seen. pure my big, white behind!

(some places have really hard water, the soap that worked with a water softener was very different than what worked in hard water, which was different the hardness came from calcium and not iron, etc; we figured that maybe some soaps work great in "softened" water and others react well with lyme deposits, etc but we have no idea if that is really the reason).
