Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds isn't about drugs. The idea came when John Lennon's son showed him a picture he drew of his friend Lucy, and when asked what it was said "It's Lucy in the sky with diamonds".

and all you could hear was me and my friend singing, since no-one else knew the words (we had to do a year-long beatles project in school one year so we like know all the words to the songs ahaha)

I think she died sometime last year? Maybe September. I should find the Cracked article about it. It was the 12 celebrity deaths you might not have known about due to other deaths getting so much publicity. I found out a guy who saved billions of lives by introducing special crops to Africa died in September last year. Michael Jackson had more publicity at the time as that movie was coming out, I think...
