Jodie we are staying at the Swan. I cant wait. I have heard that they just redid all the rooms and the beds are heavenly. Jennifer will be wandering around with me also. Im going to take my little hattie off my tree and attach it to my backpack before we go.

YooHoo! I've entered the building, albeit only briefly!! I see that I have a lot of ketchupping to do - about 20 pages!

I have totally pushed to the wall with my deadline and only hopped on the net to find info about Bono as I have to write a short news item about him and his work in Africa to stop the spreading of AIDS. Of course I had to make a detour/pit stop to the DIS.

I hope to be back on soon - but it doesn't look highly likely until maybe Christmas Eve. Whose bright idea was it to make deadline week right before Christmas. Ohhhhhh yeah, I dimly recall having a hand in that decision.

Can someone run and buy me 3 Penna. fishing license and wrap about 6 more presents? Oh - and clean my toliet and stick the towels in the dryer?

Jay wants to take photos at a slumber party? What if we all sleep au naturele??

Soooo.... did anyone EVEN notice I've been MIA lately? Gads... will I EVER get ketched up?! *Sigh* After 2 days of slaving over Cam's birthday party/present... it's finally done! Nine 11-13 yo. boys had a ball here today... everyone one of them were perfect gentleman, Cameron loved his present from us Elaine, annnnd..... I'm exhausted.

Ok... now I'm off to try and ketch up a bit.... oh... what's this about a slumber party? Where are we having it? I've got chips, hot dogs and birthday cake left over...are we going to braid each other's hair? Tell ghost stories? Talk about boys? Have pillow fights? Oh...and do we REALLY have to let Jay bring his camera? What about Bonnie and her secret video taping escapades!?!? Gotta watch out for that woman...she's sneaty!

Um...ya'll...I have a sneaty suspicion that Jay might just be hoping to catch the "au natural" and the "almost natural" sleepers with his camera!!! Oooo...forgot about Bonnie...okay...new rule...no cameras, no camcorders!!!! Deal?

Ya know sometimes it is REALLY hard to eat healthy in this house!!! The kids have friends over so I ordered pizza...a food group that has been hard to find around here lately! Well I wasn't gonna eat it so I put a nice salmon fillet on my little grill...you would have thought Pam was cookin roadkill!!!! The EWWWW GROSSS was started by my wonderful DH, which of course sent the kids into fits of "I"M GONNA HURLS"!!!! So I ate on the deck! Good grief!!! Where's the respect I ask ya??? M-I-C-K-E-Y Christmas just ofr meeeeeeee..............
It can't get here soon enough! Heh heh heh...and since I am the one who does all the vacation planning around here....don't ya'll think they all deserve for me to make ps arrangements at anice SEAFOOD restaurant????? Don't MESS with Mommy!!!!!

We have a tiny (approx 500 sq ft) fixer upper guest house on our property.... we cleaned, redecorated and supplied it with things a 13 yo would love. I put Star Wars, Sponge Bob and Stitch posters everywhere, bought a funky lamp, bean bags and floor pillows, changed all the light bulbs to red, green and pink, bought a fooseball table and put out there, placed his old Nintendo system and a little tv in the bedroom, and bought a little VCR/DVD player.... One of his friends made me laugh.... we took all 9 boys out there together, and one of them pipes up with: "Are you trying to tell Cam you want him to move out of the house?" LOL! Cam was thrilled beyond words and has a smile plastered on his face he can't seem to remove! I love it!!!

Good grief, I can't believe how much I've missed in the last 24 hours!

Shep was here last night, Betty is back after a super hectic week with the "party animals", Carol is feeling lots better and didn't gat too far behind thanks to some kind Ya Ya sisters who sent her ketchup letters, Jay was eating pizza with pineapple and is on vaca till next year, Bonnie dropped in to tell us about her ring (ALL RIGHT, BONNIE!!!), Karen ate Mexican and it didn't hurt so now she's gonna try pizza, Elaine wants to wrap things in brown paper bags, Jennifer and her girls made flower pens, Marilyn has Apolonia over for the night, Kim has been busy with Cam's b'day and party, Pam is workin' hard, trying to meet that deadline, but dropped in to say hi, and JODIE IS PACKING!!!!!!!!!!

Whew!!! Quite a lot to ketchup on!!!

We had our "Fireside Christmas" program at church last night so I didn't get a chance to come by. Played Silent Night on handbells and got all teary. Got most of the notes right even though I couldn't see my music very well!! Then DH was hogging the computer this morning, but he's getting all the digital pix from Dis Con cropped as needed and arranged so we can print the ones we want to send to our buddies. So I'm not complaining.

I can't believe the price of the Disney Christmas tree! Even more amazing that people are actually paying it!!

Can we do each other's nails at the slumber party, too??!! We can even do Jay's after he falls asleep!! Lime green, maybe??!

Arrggggghhhhhhh.......I FINALLY got all my packages ready to go and the Pak Mail place closed an hour earlier than I expected!! Store is open tomorrow, but I don't think anything will go out till Monday. Oh well......I've been wanting to postpone/extend Christmas. This way, some people will get to enjoy the anticipation and present-opening for even longer!!

Gotta get back to the kitchen for the rest of my baking, now. Then, I'm DONE!!! Tomorrow night we are going into DC to see Les Miserables and I intend to relax and enjoy! Hopefully, I will drop in and ketchup again before we go to the theater. But for now, good night ladies and bothers!!
