Afternoon ya'll!!
HI SKETTY!!!! Good to see ya!!! A New Year's slumber party...with green hair!!! Sounds like fun to me!!!

Whoa!!! I just called WDW florist to have a Christmas tree delivered to our room so it would be there when we got there....have ya'll ever PRICED these things??? Holy smokes...they only had 2 left...a 3 foot table tree for TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS or a six foot tree for FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! Hee hee....they must be some kinda special trees!!! OMG! I was so tempted to laugh...but she was serious. Oh my...I will take the little one in from the van and we will be juuuust fine!!!! Maybe I will scoot out tonight and get a tabletop tree to take down with us....yeah, that's what I'll do!

Oh my gosh!!!! $200 for a three foot tree. Can't imagine anyone spending that kind of money. Jodie, I am really out of the loop and don't have enough time to ketchup, so when are you leaving?

Jennifer, a New Years Eve with green hair sounds great to me. Would you like to come here. We are hosting the New Years party for Chris and his friends again this year. I really need the company. Poor Allison is hoping to stay healthy this year. Two years ago she called from a sleep over about 5 minutes before midnight and said she was sick and needed to come home and last year she was sick the whole day of New Years eve and missed her party. Hope this year is better.

Hee hee...kinda took my breath away too Betty!! But if they only have 2 trees left SOMEBODY is paying it!! We leave Christmas morning....as early as possible!!!! Driving straight thru to arrive Christmas evening. And am I getting excited??? Um...YES!! Gosh, I hope Allison has a "well" New Year's eve this year!!!

Well, I have done my job for the day. Chris just left here all upset with me. I had the nerve to ask him to vacuum the basement (he had the last party) and then I told him to take out the garbage. Well, he took out the garbage but he was stomping around and the basement did not get vacuumed. It isn't that bad but since he had the last party and it was his mess I thought he would like to do it. Well, he didn't. So tonight when he comes home and finds 30 of his friends in the basement he will feel a little strange. Wait a minute, maybe he won't. He is a male and little things like vacuuming they don't notice. I am not going to do it for him. He can do it tomorrow when it is really bad. Serves him right. Ha! Ha!

Well, I am at 2 hours and counting for the kids to start showing up. Got to run and clean off the dining room table. Don't know why it is the most cluttered room in the house.

Just popping in to say hi for today. Waiting for my little munchkin to dropped off.

Thanks Betty. I love being a grandma! I went and rented movies (Stuart Little 2 and a Kate and Ashley movie), we'll make popcorn later and have a fire in the fireplace. Later we'll cuddle in bed reading until we are tired. Send you two over! Never too late to have a grandma!

Jen, won't be long until I take a photo of the afghan. Not anywhre near done, but I want you to see what I am up to!

Did someone say $200 for a tree? Aggghhh! No way Jose!

Jodie, with my little munchkin here, if I don't get a chance to tell you later, have a wonderful, magical trip my dear. We will miss you, but knowing you and family are having a wonderful time in WDW will warm our hearts. Merry Christmas to you and family sweetie.

Nancy, an adult lady slumber party! That sounds like so much fun. Can you picture all of us YaYa's doing one??!! BWAAHHAA. We would have soooo much fun! OK, everyone fly into Chicago and lets have one! I'll have it at my house. Of course, I will have to rent a room at a motel for DH, but he wouldn't mind!

Keep on feeling good Karen! I am so excited that you are doing so well.

Nancy, we were there just before Christmas last year. It has become sort of a tradition! This will be our first time there on Christmas Day though. I am sort of a homebody when it comes to Christmas Day...but this is a good year to do this...we all need the magic!!!

You hang onto that thought about a Ya Ya slumber party!! After the holidays I am going to get ya'll to sign up for just such an event this summer!!!! I don't care where, but we WILL get together this summer....I'll organize it!!!

The tree the WDW Florist has is fully decorated and includes shipping home from what I understand. Still not worth 200.00 though. We brought our own little tree last year and it worked out well.

Jodie where are you staying at WDW? I am SO excited for you and even more excited that I will probably be able to meet you!!!

Betty hope all goes well with the Party!!! Im so happy you are back posting with us. We missed you SO MUCH!!!

Dh just went to get the Pizza!

Betty I am currently on three meds for my stomach. One is an anti-nausea med, two anti acid meds a day and an anti depressant anti panic med which will not only help my stomach but now some of the issues I have about eating out anywhere. I just started that one today so we shall see how it works. He started me off on a REALLY low dose since I dont tend to deal with meds really well. Im really short and sometimes the normal doses are too much for someone my size. Thank heavens for insurance. If I had to pay for all the meds they have tried or the ones I am on I would be broke. All I want is for this all to end and be able to eat normally again. If I could ask for anything for Christmas and get it that's what I would ask for.
