Just popping in to say hi! I had a very much of a vegging day so I wasn't on posting much I hope you all had good days and I think I might be around later.

Well, tomorrow is the day. My turn to see Episode 2 in IMAX!!! I am pumped for this!! I've watched the DVD and bonus features to do my homework, so I'm all set. If you haven't done so already, be sure to check out the featurette on Jango Fett. The very last image is hysterical!! Jango on the space dock/launch pad, holding an umbrella and dancing. A dancing bounty hunter doing his version of "singin in the rain." LOL! Too funny!!!

Yesterday we had Team Kid (bible study) and choir and by the time I ate dinner and read the messages I was too tired to post LOL. Had to work today and then go pick up my son from Honors Orchestra practice.

Betty. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!! Im so sorry I wasnt here to wish it to you on your birthday.

Betty ewwwwwwww that would have been the end of me if someone had thrown up while I was there. Thats one thing I cannot hack. Hope today was a better day!

Bonnie I am SO glad you liked your flowers!!!! You deserve them kiddo. You did a GREAT job!!! Glad you got to sleep in today!!!

Bonnie, I don't have your # or I would have let you known I was in your neck of the woods. DH called from work and asked if I wanted to try Ryan's and we just kinda took off from there! He loved it and I know we'll be going back. Next time I'll let ya know when we are heading out that way!

I hope that everyone is doing well tonight.
Today was a big day around here...my 13 y/o DD had cheer try-outs for her middle school team. She's been really nervous leading up until today and she has worked very hard. She ended up making it but her best friend didn't. She was really happ for herself but she was also sad for her friend.

Laura...congrats to your DD....hard on them when they enter something as a "team" and only one makes it.

Tell your daughter I said congratulations on made the cheerleading squad! She sounds like a very wonderful girl to be so concerned/sad about her BF!

My 17 yr. old DD is also a cheerleader and is on the HS Band Dance Line. She is not doing basketball cheerleading this year - it ended up being 5 nights a week for the past two years. She's a Junior this year in HS, taking all AP classes, plus she's still doing the Dance Line as our football team is still in the playoffs. She also takes dance classes 2, sometimes 3 days a week and also works part-time. Enough was enough.

Is this your DD's first year of cheeleading? Is it for basketball? My DD loves to cheer, she was always the flyer and gymnast on the squad! She particularly loved doing the half-time dances!!

Pam,
She has cheered for the youth league football team for 3 years and this is her seond year at the middle school. Our middle school doesn't have a football team so the youth league is pretty big here. She was on the cheer squad last year for basketball at the school & these tryouts were also for basketball. She loves it!! My DD is a flyer too & she's working on the gymnastics...not quite there yet.

Jay, tomorrow's payday and I think I will be picking up that Episode 2 DVD. DH says it's still available at Costco for $19.96. Looking forward to that Jango Fett bit!! I'm just mad that my pre-ordered LOTR special edition hasn't arrived yet. Customer service claims they couldn't even mail it till Tuesday. BALONEY!!! My office mate got hers in the mail on Tuesday from someplace else. See if I order anything else thru the fan club!!!

Tummy has been a lot better. Ive actually been getting down breakfast and dinner. Breakfast doesnt sit as well as dinner so Ive been using the anti nausea meds for that but havent had to use them too much for dinners. I actually ate out last night and then went shopping after dropping the kids off at Team Kid. Two weeks ago that wouldnt have happened on a bet. Thank you for caring and asking.

Laura congrats on your daughter making the cheering squad!!! Its sad her friend couldnt have made it also. Its so hard when one friend makes it and one doesnt. Hopefully it wont hurt the friendship.

Got most all of my christmas shopping done for the kids!!! Im sooooo happy about that. I just need to pick up gift certificates and small gifts for the neices and nephews now.
