KIM AND BONNIE, I want to know why you got ya ya sister and I didn't. whine*whine*whine*

Good Morning all. Before I go back and read the damage form last night...one order of buisness.......

Presenting.....The First Yaya Ornament Exchange Ornaments!!!!!

Nancy's picture of the lovely ornaments Marylin sent her!!!!

Michele, look at this way. Most of us do not have a Ya Ya tag so you are in great company.

Good morning everyone. I made breakfast for all. It is in the kitchen. The boys are keeping it warm. Sausage, Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice and biscuit with gravy. Now if you are running out the door there are croissants from Carol. I put on a pot of Starbucks coffee. Sorry don't know what kind, I just used what was in the cupboard. I don't drink coffee but it smells good.

Well, I need to buy DD a pair of nice pants. We are going to see Sound of Music downtown with two other girls and their moms. Didn't realize that DD only has jeans, 1 pair of cords, and a very tight pair of black slacks. So I need to run to the mall today and grab something for her to wear. I suggested a skirt. Of course then she griped that she would have to shave her legs if she wore a skirt. Wow!! they start young griping. Seems like yesterday when she was begging me to shave.

I too was surprised that they didn't vote Penny out. But that is SURVIVOR. Ok, Clay has always rubbed me the wrong way. Does anyone else not really like him or is it just me? He just always has a devil grin on his face.

I need to go wake Jodie up. She slept on the sofa last night. Bonnie and you know who didn't want to leave the Elder room but I finally got them to go down to the billiard room. They started playing 007 stuff and Bonnie was the Bond Girl. Wasn't a fun site to behold. She was running around looking for black leather boots with spiked heels, leather pants, tight shirt if that is what you could call it and a stun gun. I think she raided Kim's closet. Anyway, she looked very nice until she started tripping. Don't think she wears high heels very often. Lets just say that the moment Bonnie was hoping for was gone. Jodie would have loved it. I started laughing so hard that they finally left the room. Glad I have never seen a Bond movie.

Have a great day!!

Bwwwaaaahhhhhaaaaa!!! Too funny!!:teeth:

Karen,
So happy that you got to eat dinner! I think you made the right move by not taking your medicine if it was making you that sick!

Michele,
Good news on the job!!

Carol,
You're a vampire now?!:earseek:

Betty,
Let your DD wear the tight black pants......;)

Nancy,
I love your ornaments!

Marilyn,
Great job on the ornament selection1

Hello all Swanolphins!!
Pam

Oh good, people are up and I'm a vampire. Another ambition achieved!
There's been more good news recently - great!!!

Hope you all have a really nice day!!!

Hi Carol and PAm and Betty!!!!

Good luck with the shopping Betty.

Carol, did my stationary work? Nancy is so wise!!! It was one silly button turned off on my options

Pam you silly woman....what are you doing today?

Jenn,
I have to run in and change the sign at the Church (announcing this week's upcoming sermon.) November is my month and I just realized that I neglected to do that!:o

Then I am going to avoid the phone like the plague!:( DS has been getting a little crap from the BS Troop - he's one badge away from Eagle and the merit badge counselor and others are dragging their feet on working with him for it - he's only 14 and there are several older kids that have been there for 2 years more who have NOT been motivated and are not as far along as DS.

Anyways, I spoke in confidence with another Scout Mom about this and she has several issues she's not happy with and she ends up jumping the Scoutmaster and then calling another man from Council, who, unbeknowst to the Mom, is a friend of the Scoutmaster. She said, "I didn't mention any names, just the facts ." And I'm like....... duh, who else has a situation like this.

I had been walking around on eggshells to begin with, DS is happy there and said he would handle everything...... now he and I are going to have to handle a ton of crap.:( :(

I need to learn to just keep everything in and not talk to anyone!:( DS becomes Senior Patrol Leader next month - and he's going to be treated like mud.
Pam

Poor PAm. Yep..I've learned a few hard scout lessons this year.

I was trying to find the smiley behind the wall, but can't so here's a place for you to hide out until I get home...

Shopping was fun. Short. Emily got "done" early.

Off to take the girls to school and put up flyers for the GS bazaar. I would so much rather come home and dis!!!!!

Good Morning everyone! :)

My boys are home from school today.... and DH is home from work!
So...I won't have much, if any, computer time the rest of the day. Unless I can get them all into the back room playing Game Cube! :teeth: :teeth:

Gonna head out in a bit and do some shopping. Just wanted to check in and say HEY!

Nancy, such cute ornaments! :)

I wanted to see Penny go last night, too. All that sweet-talking and sucking up she was doing last night...ugh. Clay cracks me up! :teeth: What was up with Helen and all the recipes? That was a riot! And Jan? I think the poor gal is losing her mind out there on that island! I was LOL @ her Pet Cemetary! :teeth: :teeth:

OK, have a good day Ya Ya's! :)

Yawn! Stretch! Sorry for the late entry ladies, all that bond girl stuff just wore me out. Betty is right, you won't catch me in a pair of heels, but Pierce asked so nicely and gave me those puppy dog eyes-you know the ones I mean-that I couldn't resist. Sorry, Kim, I think I might have stretched out some of your stuff. The spandex should return to its normal size, but the leather, well, I might just have to buy you some new ones! Amazing what you can do in a billiards room. (Fantasy land is wonderful, isn't it?)

BWAHAHAHAHA Betty! And you thought I'd be off to work and wouldn't see this til late tonight! My day off before the very long hours this weekend!

No problem Bonnie....anybody that shares bearskin rugs and peels their buddies off of ceilings is more than welcome to raid my closet any time. :teeth:

Carol is a vampire too!? Oh good!! I'm so glad to know I'm not alone in my vampire'ness-ness...ness. Not really sure, but I don't think that's a real word.

Ok, not really supposed to be in here. It's time to be up and in the shower, but it was too cold in there. I'm stalling. :p

Michele, I have my Ya Ya sister tag because I scheduled a personal appt with the TF (kind've like Dorothy going before The Great Oz) and made my request while on bended knee at the throne of the TF. Whew... I don't mind telling you, it was quite an experience!! :earseek:

Well, guess I'll go check on my little Ya Ya bathroom and see if it's warmed up enough to take that shower.

Catch you Ya Yas later!

And Michele, I have my YaYa Sister tag because I gave it to myself, and then the tag fairy just changed the color when they added the Keeper of the YaYa Dictionary one.

Morning all! I am stopping in right now because they "upgraded' some software yesterday and now I can't get a dang thing to work!

Michele, notice I don't have a YaYa tag either (of course I admit after all I went through to get what I have, I don't want anything but what I currently have) If you really want one I am sure they are watching or one of us could put a good word in for you. They see a lot but sometimes they don't see everything.

Well I suppose I ought to try to get back to maniuplating the software so it will do what I ask it to do finally! I hope you all have a great day.

Good morning, everyone!! Glad to see all you who are up and about this morning.

Carol--these chocolate croissants are amazing!! I DO believe this filling is as good or better than my favorite Ghirardelli chocolate!! And these croissants are so light. Tastes like more!!! No-No!! Smack hands!! Bad girl!! Remember, diet = less weight to lug around WDW and Dis Con II is barely more than 3 weeks away!!)

Bonnie--I WISH I could have seen you playing 007 for Pierce last night! Must have been a sight to behold. (BTW, if you leave those leather pants out in the rain, they should shrink up nicely)

Poor Pam--and I thought I was the only one who couldn't keep her moth shut. But ya know, when it comes to the kids, ya just want to do everything you can for them, right??!!!

Betty--have a wonderful time seeing Sound of Music! It's one of my favorites. My DH and I saw Man of La Mancha at the National 2 weeks ago and it was AWESOME!! I just love theater, even if I don't fit in with all those ritzy uptown folks. Oh, great job on the coffee this morning and thanx for the link to the smilies!

Kim--quit stalling and get in that shower!! You KNOW Apolo likes his women, I mean WOMAN (singular!), all clean and fresh smelling!

Well, back to my multi-tasking here at work. Gotta love having a job working on the 'puter all the time! I can keep the DIS open all day!

Keep the faith, sisters!!
Beth

Good morning YaYa's!:sunny: :sunny: Sorry I was so tired last night. Got a good nights sleep though...Carol, Beth and I have snoring in harmony down pat.

Actually, it was Beth's DH that came to the mansion. But Beth yanked him out of here as fast as she could. She didn't want him to see all the house/cabana boys ;) Now we have something to hold over her head...we'll tell DH about the boys. (Marilyn tells Beth, quit looking at me like that. Sisters can't be nice all the time you know)

Jennifer, that is wonderful about Paige! We have a lot of very smart YaYa children in the mansion.

Pam, nobody messes with our YaYa-lings. Tell anyone who messes with them they better hope no YaYa turns up at their doorstep.

Carol, are you telling me you are going to "be hanging" in the basement as a vampire??!! No hanging from the ceiling of the bedroom though....you might get conked by our disco ball. And thanks for the croissants.

Betty, thanks for the wonderful breakfast. Hope you and DD have a wonderful time. It sounds like such fun.

I wanted to be one of two things when I was little, an English teacher or a vampire. I'm one happy little fangy! So Kim, you and I can fly about and cause mayhem tonight! I think we should bite one or two houeboys to keep us company.
Jennifer, your stationery worked perfectly! I'm just about to mail you. Nancy's a genius. I've said it before and I'll probably never stop!
Pam, sorry things snowballed on you. Life's a ***** for doing that.

Glad you liked the croissants ladies! From a little bakery round the corner - Roland can never go for rools without buying their croissants!

No Marilyn, I'll keep away from the disco ball and the drinks cabinet - fangys don't like mirrors... I'll still join in with the snoring though!

Beth,
Well..... confiding in another Mom seems to have reached back and bit me in the butt.....:( We were just having a heart-to-heart that was supposed to stay between us - she said, "I told no names, just details." And I like hey, who else has these same circumstances.

I am fried. I will either be called out on the carpet or ostracized even more that I already am. I am thinking the latter - and since I have such a horrible temper, they won't want the former.

I am praying this all blows over and DS gets the respect, etc. that he deserves.
Pam

Gooood Friday morning Ya yas!!!
Oh Pam...nothing stinks quite like Scout politics!! You would think in an organization with such high ideals for its youth that the adults would follow suit....NOT! I am sorry you and ds are having to deal with this. I hope it won't be as bad as you are anticipating. WHY do some women take it upon themselves to be the calvary for other women...WITHOUT being asked???? I have never understood that!

Well good morning Miss "I'm so glad YOU slept well" LucyStorm!! While you and Pierce were having fun stretching out leather and spandex, SOME of us were sleeping on the SOFA!! (Jodie makes a note to self...in the next house ...the beach house?....she will have her OWN room!!!)

Thanks for the croissants Carol!

Kim, you outa the shower yet?

Elaine, sorry about your computer probs at work although I must admit a certain amount of gratification seeing the computer whiz struggling ! I struggle every day with the crazy things!!;)

Morning Jennifer! Have fun putting up those flyers. We have a meeting tonight and will have our rededication and court of
awards as well as hopefully finish a badge we have been working on (Science in Everyday Life) , draw names for Secret Santas and work a little on firming up Bronze award plans for each girl. Think I can do all that in 3 hours???:p

Morning to anybody I missed! DD is home sick again so I need to go check on her and get ready for tonight's meeting. See ya'll when I can. Good days to everybody!!!
