Oh I had some very very good news not too long ago. All lower level management (VPs and above don't get this) will get a bonus at work on December 13th (which is my anniversary at the company anyway). It is a kind of "sorry you haven't gotten a quartly bonus for the last 6 or so quarters but we do appreciate all you've done for us and stuck out all the crap that you did and this is the best way we know how to thank you" deal. So I get a nice bonus on that date (they tell us that the amount will be nearly 3% of our salary). That right there could pay for pretty much the remaining part of my WDW trip So I had to share some good news for a change

BTW, your IT dept. sounds just like the PC dept. where DH works (he's on the Unisys side). They just can't resist tinkering, but also can't be bothered to fix the things that ARE broke!!! Glad you found a way around them.

I hadn't really had an opinion on Erin, but I liked the way she comforted Jake .....but I don't know why he felt bad about the challenge.....he was the one that stayed down the longest!

Clay is irratating....he seems to think he is better than the others.
And Jan ...is just odd (but I cried with her during the chicken neck-wringing (see the thread on crying))

Well, paige decided she wanted to help put up the flyers, so instead I went on a walking trip with the preschool and Emily to the village museum to see the trains and then went to the yarn shop to get some more stuff (dh is going to have a fit when he sees the check book ) and now I'll go get PAige (another 1/2 day and we'll walk the village with our flyers. It's sunny and going up to 63 today with a nice breeze!! A Perfect day!!!!!!

Hey! What's this?!?! Nearly a full hour during the day and not *one* new post??? Everyone must be lurking, have nothing to say or be busy elsewhere. As for me, trying to work, but not really getting much done. Futility is the best way to describe it. So I'm watching Star Wars Ep 1 on DVD. Gotta get ready for the Ep2 DVD coming out on Tuesday.

So what IS happening Sunday? I know my bell choir is doing the special music at church on Sunday, but that wouldn't be on YOUR calendar. And the special edition LOTR comes out on DVD on Tuesday along with SW Episode 2. The new Star Trek movie Nemesis doesn't come out till Dec. Same with LOTR: The Two Towers.......When ya gonna spill the beans and tell us????

It must be Friday running errands day at the Mansion. Just returned from the post office, Lowe's, the grocery store, and the bank.

To heck with you Jodie! I didn't make you sleep on the couch! I'm not the one who tied the doors shut to our room and locked me in there with Pierce! Besides, just ask Betty, we left and went to play Bond girl in the billiards room. Hmmmmmph! Maybe I will just go see if Kimmie and Apolo would be willing to share the basement with Pierce and I. I can see I am no longer loved in the Elder YaYa Lodge Room. Kimmie, I can bring some drywall and put up a partition if you would be willing to share. Here I even commandeered Old Pruneface for Jodie the other night, and this is how she treats me!
