Knock ......knock!!

Can I get in now?
First last night and now this evening....I was locked out again!! :(

You guys trying to tell me something? Or is it the ghosts?

Multiposting or no posting...which is better?

I have no idea how many of my posts are floating in cyberspace.
I think it must be a record.

Elaine is going after Apolo now :earseek:

Okay fine!! My posts are finally going somewhere again and no one is home anymore!!

You guys better not up on move on me again like you did from the cottage!! I'm getting a complex!!

Maybe I should just keep posting and talk to myself :teeth:

Okay...what ever happened to the toga party?
Was it cancelled due to poltergeists inhabiting the mansion?
We went all the way to Germany for Carol, get back....and NO party?

...I'll dance with ya.

LOL...bring out the men!!

Jeannie....I "tried" to tell you on the other thread that I really liked the I Love Lucy picture you posted! One of my favorite scenes. I even have a doll dressed like that.

:( Okay, that last post took a LONG time....I thought I was locked out again :(

I was just about to start "playing a Helen" from survivor and start talking food and recipes since no one is here to talk to.
How many pages do you think I can fill? :teeth:

Hey, Jeannie. I saw in a couple of threads that you asked how to find out the post counts for the whole Dis board......did you ever find out? I was trying to find out too.

Okay....off to read another board.....if no one is here when I get back I'm posting a recipe ...hehehehe :teeth:

Do you really?(have that doll I mean:p) I LOVE that episode...the chocolates keep coming out hooee! oh yeah...you're the "good friend with chocolate" lady :p.

I wonder if the Brits love "Lucy" the way we do...we should ask Carol.:)

Are you of Germanic descent? A german friend of mine said that they have a German equivalent to our Sesame Street it's called sp?-Siezam Strasse...I have a hard time imagining it quite frankly.:)

I do have that Lucy doll :) she's a cutie!

I think Carol has said that she has watched the show. I don't know if it was in Germany or when she was in England....or both.

I have a teensy bit of German, but I wouldn't know about the shows (except from Carol).

And I want Carol to tell me about Siezam Strasse.;)

:) Thanks...guess someone answered you.

Carol might know about Sesame Street. You'll probably still be here when she comes :teeth:

Are you planning a trip to WDW? Been lately?

Be back after I read another board (doesn't take me long....I just skim ;) )

Okay....these are the cookies I baked today for DH to take to work :teeth:

Nancy's Chocolate Whoppers

Recipe By :Nancy
Serving Size : 16 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Cookies Drop

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
6 ounces semisweet chocolate
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup flour
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
4 ounces walnuts -- chopped
4 ounces pecans -- coarsely chopped

Oven rack in middle of oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil.
Microwave both chocolates and butter in a medium bowl on high for 1 minute, then stir. Repeat at 30 seconds intervals until chocolate and butter have melted and mixture is smooth. (Or melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth). Let cool slightly.
In another bowl, with mixer on high speed, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder until lighter in color and bubbly, about 2 minutes. Reduce speed to low and beat in chocolate mixture (which may still be quite warm). Add flour and beat just until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop about 2 tablespoonfuls batter per cookie, spacing about 2" apart (dough is gooey).
Don't flatten tops.
Bake 9-11 minutes, no longer. Surface will be dry, shiny and cracked, but inside will be soft.
Slide foil off cookie sheet onto countertop. Cool cookies on foil, or remove to a wire rack to cool.

so...if I don't come back...Carol, Good morning :teeth:

Morning Jeannie and Nancy - so you got through again after all!

Not caught up with things yet but it's Sesam Strasse, most of it's the original dubbed but for the live actors inbetween, they're Germans! I watched it when I first came over to improve my German - it's great!

Speak to you all later when I've caught up, off to read things with Sean now!

Morning!!

Don't have time to catch up on everything right now but wanted to pop in and say HEY!

Welcome to the mansion, Lars!

WHOA!!! What the heck happened last night???? I kept seeing my post post again and again and again!!!! Then...POOF! Nothin!
We really have to work on these poltergeists in this mansion before they follow us to the next Ya Ya home!!!
Morning Everybody!!!!

Good morning!!!! Boy those poltergiests were sure busy last night!!

How is everyone doing this morning??

I had a really great meeting with my eldest sons teacher yesterday. He couldnt find a single thing to complain about! He said DS is doing WONDERFUL and has a zest for learning that he sees daily in class!

Of course this same wonderful child decided to throw paper wads with his buddies yesterday and nearly ended up getting me called by the teacher. The teacher allowed him to redeem himself during the day and his card was changed back from red to green. WHY do kids the minute you praise them do something wild?? LOL

Welcome Lars!!!!
