I guess Verizon didn't fix my phone line like they thought they did last week.

It rained here last night and now I have no phone and no internet. Not even a dial tone.

Do you have DSL or the new fiber optic line?

DSL. The new Fiber Optics is not in my area yet.

I am thinking about switching my phone and Internet to my cable company.

But I am not sure about not having a land line. But than again my phone is messed up so much now that we don't even use it. We use our cell phones the most.

But with my Mom at my house during the day she uses the phone the most.

And I always worry about being able to call 911.

Although the Cable company keeps telling me I will save money. Funny when I sit down to figure it out I will break even or even end up paying a little more for their bundle service.

Only if the cable goes out. If you lose power the modem has a battery back up so the phone still works
