me too pk-12.... and a catholic university...... then a state university.... and now a private university.....

Good for her - and for you.

Where we live there are no Catholic schools or private schools. So our kids have gone to public schools. Good grades are so important. Our DD is in college now and was able to get scholarships because of her grades and her music. (She was in band and played clarinet and alto clarinet and made the all-district and all-state bands several years!)

My ebay auctions have less than an hour to go. I had four going and two have been bid on. Same as last weekend 50% of my items sold! I'm going to try to put up 20 items today!

I'm gonna have to try. I did once a few years ago and just about everything sold. Just gotta make time to take some pictures.

Its a heat wave today 20' !!! so what is DH doing??? Throwing rock salt in the gutters so we won't get any ice dams..... smart or death defiying???? not sure, but thougthful.

dinner was good last night, we went for shrimp in garlic butter over noodles at a local pasta place....

I wonder who put the shrimp in my brain yesterday... but DH and I had a great meal and a good time out of the house after all those cold days last week.

Yes, she was/is very good at it. She had thought about a major in music but decided on Criminal Justice instead. She stuck with the clarinet the first two years of college and was in the Honors band at the university but then it just got to be too much.

I ended up with two selling of the four auctions I had going. I was going to list a lot today but other stuff keeps coming up. I've gotten five listed.

But in between I've dealt with some problems with work on the phone, done some MORE laundry and started to make pork stew!

We're up in the 30's!!! DH and Matthew are out cutting firewood. One hour of cutting firewood equals two to three hours of dirt bike riding and four wheeling!

Gee, I wonder who would have put that in your mind. Don't you just hate that when someone does that to you!

DH says he's in the mood for fried food again. (Go ahead, kill me now with the cholestrol!) So, I have to rummage through the freezer and see if I've got some more shrimp in there! He did it with a tempura batter and it was perfect! If he cooks then we'll just have the pork stew tomorrow and I won't have to worry about dinner tomorrow night!
