Good night lasters. It looks like tomorrow will be upto the US.
What am I missing? I lay here with an aching body. Advil aint working.
You can try Valium. It is a muscle relaxant, and it does work. Just don't drive anywhere, when it reaches its zenith. It is not OTC though, so will need an RX for it.![]()
We're in the tow truck now. The guy convinced her to go to Bakersfield for the night. We'll take it to Ford and see about a rental. Arline has a 10AM Dr appt. in Tulare.
Let's just hope we get some sleep and I'd like a drink after all this! I don't think we'll find a mini mart before they close! Much less a hotel room!
Fran does most of the driving. We are currently sitting on I-5 with a dead car that something blew off and we lost all our oil pressure and have some severe body work. There is something missing from the underside of the back drivers side of the vehicle. Only about 40 more minutes before the tow truck driver is supposed to take us back to Long Beach.![]()
Well we are safely secured in a hotel near the Ford Dealership where our car is parked illegally on the street. The tow truck driver assured us that we are OK he leaves 3-4 cars there a night. We're at a Holiday Inn Express so at least we'll get breakfast. Fran will head over to the dealership at 7AM get the car in repair and right now she is on the AARP website looking for cars. She will come back and get Arline and I and hopefully we'll get to Tulare by her 10AM appt.
Then we hope they can fix our car in a day so we can turn in the rental car and drive home.
OK, signing off. BTW valium is really not a viable pain reliver. It foes however make you incapable of doing anything else.
Good luck usnuz, good night!
I dont like things like that anyway. I usually just use regular advil. Its just the sorneness from not using my muscles in this way for quite some time. I am looking forward to reno, I need a jacuzzi. I need to be up in less than an hour. Oh the horror of aches and pains. I rubbed a blister on my knee from cleaning the baseboards.
