This reminds me a thread I saw. It was about if the CR would provide a fan for your room. I'm not sure why they didn't think of using the AC in the room. But maybe they have really smelly socks.

Work is complicated. This is a global company and we are working 'with' Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane offices. So not only is it on the server. It needs the Internet.
At this stage in the project I'd like it if we could move some files onto a local server which might help a bit. But then our main IT people are in Melbourme.

Yes we should be able to do stuff while offline. But it just isn't that simple sadly.

The old 'new rule' (that some people have as a tagline) is or words to that effect:
The first person that responds to a new thread must quote the OP. That way, when they come along and change the OP to "never mind", the rest of the 'bored' will still know what the OP was.


In some instances, the 'bored' take great pleasure in reminding the first responder that they had forgotten to quote the OP....
