So now I see that Ness hit 1,200 posts on Friday, and now she's up to almost 1,400!! Great weekend!

DH and I have talked about DVC but never really looked into it too much. Sounds like something we need to look into, though. Hmmm!

If you go often, and like the better amenities, it is definitely worth it.

Chip??? OK But Chip has a Chocolate "Chip" nose- So this looks more like Dale!!!

I aways quiz the kids at work when I wear my Chip and Dale scrub top-Most think they're the Chipmunks from the new Movie-But I always remind them that the secret to remembering is that chocolate chip trick

easy enough to remember

I know, I know. I knew about the chocolate and red noses, but just didn't look through the camera lens at the nose. I have no idea why I simply assumed it was Chip. Bad Kevin, Bad.

DH wanted to do the Flag retreat thing-But like you said it was already full-maybe next time(in Oct) with DS -who will be home from the Middle East!! That would be nice to see DH and DS out there-I could do it too since I'm a veteran too-but NO WAY!!!

I would call at least a week or more in advance. I haven't found out whom to call or even the number yet, though.

Why wouldn't you want to do it? Very simple, and DW and I loved doing it! Created our own "dream"!

and getting the Kids up that early -You must be a miracle worker!!! I can never get the gang up and moving that early!!!

You know, I don't know why they do sometimes. They don't really have to, since they are old enough to be out on their own at Disney. They both left early each day, so they know the bus system, and how it works. We even try to get them to do things on their own, and they usually want to stick with us, even if they're bored. Go figure.

I am so glad that you and your DW got to be a part of the retreat ceremony. That is just too cool! I think it's great that they honored you that way!

We did feel very honored, and lucky! Since we were asking the day of, we figure it had to be fate!

I showed DH the pics of Kevin in the flag ceremony, now if I can get him to do it He's Navy, but when he's at Disney, He's LAZY -- oh did I say that??? He's one of those sleep late on vacation types of people.... no wonder he's sending me there by myself

Lazy is OK for the retreat. It's not til 5 pm. Tell him he'll cherish the memory forever! Only 365 people get to do it a year, so he'd be in good company!

I guess I'm lucky that both DW and I are Disney lovers and fanatics!! We love going together!

Our boys don't mind getting up and moving early as long as we're going to be doing something. DH, however, is a different story!

Maybe that is part of the difference with ours. We did leave early, but we had an ADR at Crystal Palace, and they both love the food there. So maybe they were OK with it, since we were feeding them!

does anyone have a web cam??


we (I) bought one this week and set it up last night. Had my parents use it to talk to my brother and his kids last night in MA. It was great to watch them see and talk to their grandkids. Now, I am not so sure of me getting on camera though.

I have one for my work computer. I don't use it for anything else. With the team spread out all over the country, they thought it was a good idea. Works pretty well, too.

I've got 'Ohana dinner first night and 'Ohana Character Breakfast the morning of the cruise. Also Boma and Crystal Palace.

We've got 3 of those scheduled for our July trip already. We're aren't doing the character breakfast at O'Hanas this trip, just dinner.
