The last ship?

very sad we aren't getting any classic ships in florida for the foreseeable future once the magic departs P.C.

hope they will bring them back...

You feel zero difference between the smaller class and larger class ships in terms of crowds and space. Its not even noticable. To reject the newer ships for this reason, without even trying them, is frankly ridiculous.
You have your opinion, and I have mine. You feel that the extra passengers are not noticeable, but I more than likely would notice them. I'm a very introverted person, and don't really care for crowds if I can help it. Though I do come out of my shell, as my wife puts it while on the ships, and I'm more talkative then normal when we have cruised, but I also walk around the decks with my headphones on listening to music to help me relax while on the ships.

There are people who love the larger ships, but I don't tell them that are "ridiculous" for liking the larger ships just because I don't. Everyone has their preferences and just because mine are not yours doesn't mean that I'm being ridiculous.

Absolutely love the Magic and Wonder and it took me 3 cruises on the Disney Wish to appreciate the Wish class size and layout. While I agree you really don't feel that much of a difference between the classic ships and the new ships in terms of passengers and crowds, I do prefer the intimacy of the smaller ships. Everyone has their own preferences. I would not really want to sail anything bigger than the Wish class ships. I personally love all the DCL ships and have been on them multiple times. Looking forward to the Destiny in January!! The Treasure blew me away. What a ship. please don't let any perceived crowd issue keep you from trying the Treasure....the themeing and spaces of that ship are just fantastic.

Got to agree with this sentiment. Having sailed on both the Wish and Treasure I'm quite comfortable with the "crowd" levels and venues on each. We do like the Treasure better than the Wish but that is not to say that we didn't like the Wish.

Looking forward to trying the Destiny soon.

I agree that while onboard the ships, the difference isn’t that noticeable, but it does make a different when Castaway Cay (and I would think Lookout Cay as well, though I haven’t been there) is filled with passengers from the Magic and Wonder compared to when it’s filled with many more passengers from the larger ships.
Yes I agree it would be noticable on the castaway cay and lookout cay. But that is really the only exception.

My opinion is based on experience. Yours is based on a guess. Im trying to help you out. You do not feel any difference in crowds on the bigger ships because the ships are bigger and space out the crowds more. You are missing out based on a misinformed belief.

Ships in florida - 4-5.

Ships everywhere else - 0-1.

Its impossible to feel sorry for people near Florida regarding dcl. They are extremely over privledged when it comes to dcl and dont seem to appreciate that fact.

Not my experience. Crowded dining, crowded pools, crowded islands. Been sailing since Magic 4th sailing. Tried bigger; prefer smaller.
