We arrived at 'Ohana and right off the bat, they took a family picture of us...I liked it and purchased I think because it was Christmas Eve, we were all smiling, and we were at the Polynesian... again... that tickle in the back of my mind that we might not stay there again next time we go...
We were seated fairly quicky which was nice and immediately food and fun began happening all around us.
The kids (unlike the night before at 'Ohana) elected to participate in the kid parade with Lilo, Mickey and friends....
Eating and waiting for the characters to come by...
Eddie and I got so tickled because there was a table close by to us that had the most precious, energetic girl who would give each character the biggest and hardest hug she could muster... she was so very excited and her energy was contagious!
Before we knew it, breakfast had come and gone and it was time to go back to our room, gather the luggage and wait for our transportation back to the airport.
I snapped a few more pictures...
The Grand Floridian
More beach and a little bit of the Contemporary
Luggage checked, boarding passes in hand... and we are a sad lot sitting outside of the Polynesian waiting for the dreaded ride back...
Loaded up and on our way...
Now, I have to tell you... our ride back to the airport was a little crazy...

I don't know how our driver couldn't see the cars whose lanes he was infringing upon... more car honks at us than I've had in my lifetime... but he deposited us 'safely' and I use that word loosely simply because we did arrive in one piece... and we were through security with no problems and waiting at our gate.
The trip home was uneventful from Orlando to Houston. However in Houston, and some of you are aware of this... our plane were trying to board had mechanical issues and we were delayed for several hours in that airport. We were even relocated to a different terminal to catch a different plane and believe me when I say the pilot of our plane was in just a big of a hurry to get us to Tulsa as we were... she made excellent time, through a rain storm I might add and while I don't like flying in rain storms (mostly the turbulence scares the dog out of my kids which makes it stressful for mom), this pilot did a great job and after our extended layover in Houston, we arrived home much earlier than I could have ever imagined. We were able to go to my parents after our 40 minute drive home from the airport, visit with my youngest brother and his wife and kids for a bit, and then headed home to get kids to bed and prepare for Santa. We totally cheated on cookies... we made the pre-prepared kind that you just slap on the cookie sheet? I assure you Santa didn't care....
And that my friends... makes me the FIRST of the OCD TYPE A PLANNERS to complete her TR.
