The Kitchen vs character breakfast at IOA

Are the same characters at each? The Kitchen has character dinner on Sat. night then character breakfast at IOP is on Sun morning - don't want to do both, Which has more characters? Has anyone done both? Which do you recommend? Thanks for any info, This is our first visit to Universal.

not the same by any means.

if you do the hotel character dinner, it depends on which hotel you choose.
scooby and his group are generally regulars at the hotel dinners.

also, you order off the menu for the hotel character dinners.
your dinner cost will depend on what your group orders off the menu.
the characters are only there as an add on to the guests.


at the spiderman breakfast, it is a buffet and you chose your food. it is basic breakfast foods.
one price covers all.

spiderman, thing 1 & 2 are always at this breakfast.
the interaction is fantastic at this character breakfast if you enjoy those characters.

the character interaction is good at the hotel but seating is more spread out there.
many will have dinner at a hotel restaurant because they want to, not because of a character presentation.

If you have people in your family that are really in to Spiderman defiantely do the breakfast.We did this a few years ago and it was great,he took the time to pose and talk to the kids as well as with adults.Thing 1 and 2 were there as well as a visit from the Cat In The Hat.Breakfast buffett was pretty good , had all the usual breakfast buffett fare.
