Well, we gave it our best shot. This past Saturday, myself, my DH, his brother, sister, and our niece attempted to finish the Kitchen Sink. Alas, it was just too much. It was fun trying though. We also split some lunch before, which I don't suggest doing if you are going to order this dessert. The ice cream and toppings weren't the problem. There was just too much sponge cake, angel food cake, brownies and milky way bars that slowed us down. There was a family of 8 next to us who came in and ordered 2 Kitchen Sinks! They did a pretty good job on both, but they had the advantage since they didn't have any lunch before. It was fun trying, but I wouldn't do it again without a larger party! :)

I would love to try it but no one else I go with is game! I guess I will have to get another sundae.

We are going to attempt it this summer. There will be 4 adults and 2 kids, plus one adult will be pregnant. I know, we are cheating, bringing in a ringer!!:p

We did it last time we visited -- husband, son and me. Finished it right up in 40 minutes. The record was 30 minutes, set by one person, but there is no way we could have eaten it that fast and not seen it a second time!

We're going to try the kitchen sink on Monday. My daughter's eyes are going to pop out when she sees all that icecream!

We just ate at Beaches & Cream this past Friday & the family next to use ordered the Kitchen Sink. 2 adults & 2 small children. The did a pretty good job on it. I told DH that when we're there in Nov. I want to get that - our kids can't wait!! It just looks like so much fun!:Pinkbounc

We were also told that one person finished it in 29 minutes by themselves. They said that if one person can finish it in under an hour it's free. UGH - I can't imagine finishing it myself.

I have heard about the kitchen sink but how BIG is it really? What is in it? I have never been to Beaches & Cream. Actually, have never been to any resort restaurants before.

Louise - Beaches & Cream is in the Beach Club resort. The entrance to the restaurant is outside near the Stormalong Bay pool entrance. They have a limited menu of burgers, hot dogs & a few other things. The burgers were delicious.

When they serve the "kitchen sink" they make a huge presentation out of it announcing what's in it. I heard 8 scoops of ice cream & 1 can of whipped cream, along with hot fudge. When the people next to us were eating it they said it also contained cake, cookies, brownies, candy bars, & a lot of other stuff. They had fun with it. I can't wait for our next trip so we can try it also. We want to take my dad there who just can't stand to leave food on his plate. (how cruel of us) ;)

Oh my, it sounds amazing! Don't know if we could do justice to it though, there's only 3 of us in my party - all adults though. I'm sure we'd do our best :Pinkbounc :D

We had it last week also. Six of us leveled it , but didn't quite finish it. the big production getting it to your table is a wee bit embarasing (?) though. Lots of fun.

OK, I give up. I cant take it anymore. Where is Beaches and Cream? I am going in August ( first time ) and I want to make p.s. now. PLEASE HURRY. I FEEL WEAK. i NEED SUGAR.

No P.S. at Beaches and Cream.....:( Quite honestly, after seeing the CM prepare 2-3 Kitchen Sinks on one of our visits, I'll pass. It's just too big with too many toppings (every single one they have) for my tastes. Just give me the plain old Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae any time :)

Beaches & Cream is located at the Beach Club. The entrance is located near the Stormalong Bay entrance. It is a small diner type restaurant. You can only get the Kitchen Sink if you do sit down - not from the counter service. Enjoy it - it looks like so much fun. I can't wait to try it either! :p

We would like to try the Kitchen Sink. There is no way that we would ever be able to finish it and I think the sight of all that melting ice-cream would put us off!!

Has anyone got a picture of the Kitchen Sink? It would be nice to see it. We are there next February for 2 weeks.

Here is a picture that I found off of the Internet. Ours had more brownies and cake on it. :)
