So, my DH has this unrelenting desire to order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream while we're there in September. The thing is: it's just the two of us. I feel silly even considering it since it's just SO much! I can just imagine the stomach ache.

Have any of you small parties ordered it? Would you order it just for the heck of it even if you can't finish it?

(Anyone want to help us eat it on Sept 15? :rotfl:)

I'm sure if you offer to share you will find people willing to help you out.

On the way in I would try to find someone(s) to split it.

SURE you're crazy! :lmao: But THAT'S the fun part!! :thumbsup2

C'mon! Go for it. So what if you leave a little bit there?

We went this past December. We went with a group of 5 thinking that everyone was going to have some. My daughter and I are the two who really wanted it.

We had read here on the DIS that the best thing to do was go for early lunch and don't eat anything before hand. We did that. However, by the time we got there, everyone else in our party (except my DD and I) were ready for "lunch" and ordered other stuff instead.

So my DD and I ate most of it. We ended up getting a little help from everyone else eventually though.

It was so fun. I say go and enjoy it!!

We've done it. Chances are you won't finish it, but so what. You've gotten all the ice cream you could eat, had a great show (we love it when they blink the lights, announce it and show it around, and everyone claps), all for less than $25. Last time we were there, the guy at the next table, a first timer to WDW, came over and said "You guys are my heros-I've never seen one of those before!" We figure it's well worth the cost. One year DH and I had a Kitchen Sink for our anniversary dinner/dessert.

My DD and I did it about 2 years ago. We didn't finish it as it becomes a big mess after awhile. There was more cake and cookies then ice cream but it was something we always wanted to do and we enjoyed it.
Go for it!!!:thumbsup2

I've had it with a party of four who hadn't eaten anything all day & couldn't finish it. I will be returning with only three people & still planning to order it. :)

I'd definitly do it. Who cares if you can't finish it, they're use to seeing that. Plus, it gets so melted & gross looking no one will blame you for not finishing it. :scared:

Case in point:

BEFORE

AFTER :scared:

We tried the Kitchen Sink on our last visit, 5 of us could not finish it!
I'd give you a hand, but we return to the UK on the 12th Sept

Here is a picture us in 2007 trying to eat one.
