Cast: Me, Kelli, just turned 40, Disney nut and major planner.
DH, Stephen, also 40, puts up with my Disney obsession, loves it almost as much (just won’t admit it.)

September 26, Day 13 (if the following sounds familiar, it is. I posted this as day 12. I have since realized the error, and have written the correct day 12. Please go there now if you want to see what we really did on day 12)

We woke bright and early, and headed to the Animal Kingdom. We rode the Safari one more time. It is different every time, and I love it. We grabbed another cinnamon roll for a mid-morning snack, and then headed to Dinoland. We walked right on. Dh mentioned that he thought the big dino at the end was different. I said I didn't know because I have never seen it, I always ride this one with my eyes closed. He was shocked. How could I ride this as many times as I did, and alway close my eyes? I didn't want to be scared. Well, it was his goal now to see if I could do it with my eyes open. Well, it took me about 4 times, but the final ride I saw the whole thing. I don't know what I was afraid, but it was fun riding over and over again.

From there we walked the Pangani trail and saw ITTBAB once again, then had lunch at Pizzafari. I really liked this place. A nice change from burgers.

We left AK, and headed to Epcot. My hair was driving my crazy all day, so I bought a new hat in Mousegears with Disney Dollars from rewards, then we headed to France. A pastry was on our agenda. Can you believe DH didn't get a Kaki Gori? Well, fooled you, he did. Had to have it along with his pastry. There is a great area to the right of France that has benches. We have taken a liking to resting there. This day, however, I was exhausted, so I napped with my head on DH's lap. A short 15 minutes, but I felt great when I woke up. Then we were off. Only as far as the great mime/comedian in France. He is so funny. We really enjoyed seeing all the little things in Epcot, and he was one of them. He had a little stereo and used balloons. His act was usually the same, but with different people involved, each act seemed different. I could watch him and the living statues all day.

After laughing at him, we headed towards Canada to see Off Kilter. We had never heard them, and heard they were worth it. Any they were. DH got me a strawberry beavertail (I didn't have a snack in France), and I ate it while we watched. We went on into the Canada pavilion to buy my 19 y/o dd a fleece hoodie. It was a little expensive, but she loves it and wears it constantly.

We left in time to catch Off Kilter's next set (different from the earlier one), and then went to Japan to eat dinner at the Yakatori House. Actually, I ate yakatori, and DH ate at the American Pavilion. We sat in the area behind the Japan pagoda and played with the lizards again. We are easily entertained.

We walked toward FW and rode Test Track, again, no wait.

We got a great spot to catch Illuminations again for the last time.

We took the bus back to OKW. We got off at the main building, got some snacks and bug bite anti-itch stuff, and walked back to our room. The walk was pleasant. We were in our room by 10:30.

September 27. Day 14

Today we slept in and then did some packing. This is our last full day, so we wanted to get the car kind of ready.

First we went to MK to ride the Mountains. We also rode Buzz a few times. I am still the all time loser. We took some time to look for Hidden Mickeys, which we have done this whole trip, and were successful on some occasions. We shopped a while, and then headed to Epcot.

We monorailed over, and wandered around Mousegears on our way to WS. Can you guess where we were headed? Kaki Gori. We decided to make this an appetizer, as we were headed to the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk for lunch. We enjoyed our Kaki Gori while watching the comedian in France, and then the Living Statues. Then we walked out the International Gateway to go to the Boardwalk. The wait for a table at the ESPN Club was an unusual 30 minutes. There was some sort of job expo going on, and we hit the Club the same time all of the attendees did. It wasn't too bad, and the food there is always worth it. I'm not much into gourmet food, so this is right up my alley.

From here we walked to MGM. We made it in time to watch the parade. I liked it. Then we hopped on Star Tours, and did some shopping for a friend's baby who was born on our daughter's 20th birthday. We seem to have a special connection with this family, and wanted to surprise them with a special gift. Once we found what I was looking for, we got down to serious touring. We rode TOT and RNR a number of times. We noticed some people with AP lanyards, and asked where they got them. We were told in the area where Doug used to play. So we went over, showed our APs and got a great lanyard with a trading card attached to it. I probably will never wear it, but it's a great souvenir.

We wanted to catch Fantasmic one more time, so decided to grab some food at Rosie's and eat while we waited. This time we wanted to get out before the crowds because we were headed to DTD afterwards to purchase more gifts, and didn't want to get stuck in the crowds. We waited outside the main seating area until they were seating the far right seats. Then we went it, of course, our food was gone by now. We got some cotton candy (well, actually Stephen did), and I got a coke, and we enjoyed the show. We sat on the top row, and at the end so when we got up early, we wouldn't be bothering anyone. It worked great. As Mickey's fireworks were taking off, we were headed out of the stadium. We took the bus to DTD, and went to House of Blues. I had finally decided to buy the guys in a band I sing in at church pins from HOB, but you can't find them at any pin station. So we had to go back to the gift shop to purchase them.

It was pretty late by now, and the last boat had already left for OKW, so we hopped the bus, and headed back.

Holy cow!!! MK, Epcot, MGM, Boardwalk and Downtown Disney, all in one day??? That's some serious touring!

I really enjoyed reading this, thanks for taking the time to post it for us.
