The King's are Ritsy Titsy and Spanktastic!!! Join us.

must smell like waffles and asphalt. I think. The other night we had a warm night and a warm breeze. We pulled up to the local ice cream shop that, for the love of everything holy, has a drive thru. And they serve fresh made waffle cones. The combo of the waffles and the warm air hit us like a punch from Walt Disney himself (RIP Walt). Did this ever happen to you in your home town? We all started sniffing and dreaming of our next visit

80 days. Just tonight I was wondering if cockroaches swim. If the Jiggler goes nautical will it be safe?

We still don't know whether we are surf and turf or just turf. I have to start to plan for the Pirate and Princess party. I don't believe they are offering the party in the park in July, so this would be a boat only party. This is my favorite kind of worry. :dance3:

I am also helping my Aunt plan my grandpa's 90th b day party. I would like to do a Jeopardy game asking questions about his life and hand out funny prizes to the winners. I am still searching for ideas that are simple, but fun. I only have bridal shower and bachelorette parties to draw fun. I doubt he wants to wear a veil and collect kisses :rolleyes1

Mickey's farts?????
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

With bridal & baby shower games, how can your grandpa's party not be a hit?;)

I am so on board!!!

I have so many trip subscription, but this is too funny to pass up

Potty humor, Ritsy TItsy, you are killing me:rotfl2:

ya see I am down with potty humor if ya look at my last tag...THanks Tag Fairy:laughing:

Well, truth be told, my office's restrooms remind me of WDW. But not in the way one might think - both seem to use the same kind of air-freshener.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. ;)

Geeze whiz. I was buried behind 4 billion other reports and a bunch of "moved" threads. I had to use Mr. The King to bump it, because I had forgotten to subscribe to my own thread. How sad. But here is the good news, nay, GREAT NEWS!! School is out!!! I have a whole summer to fixate on my Disney yearnings. Ahhh. :cool1:

What spurred this on? My bump ba dumping? Well here, in Maryland, we have record heat. It should feel like 100 degrees. And the humidity is the same exact ratio as a sweating armpit out there. It is that sacred time to stretch our Disney muscle. We will pack everything for a day at Disney to go to soccer game at one o'clock . We will arrive early and practice standing in line, fighting, melting down, etc. A matter of fact, I will insist on standing in line for a hot dog for 40 minutes NO MATEER WHAT. When I finally allow myself to buy the dog I will demand to pay $12 for it.:hyper:

Thinking of packing for Disney, my treasured Bagallini may need a face lift. I realized it is not nearly Disney enough. It needs to be bedazzaled. No! BeDisneyed!!! I want Mickey heads, decorations, dangling things.

42 days 11 hours 45 minutes 12 seconds
:woohoo:

Too much to do I am so excited.:goodvibes

Do we have any recent Disney veterans in the audience to whet my appetite? :yay:

Too bad you can't demand a dole float at the soccor game! :rotfl: Its very hot here too. We went in April and thought it was hot. You are very brave to go in all that heat!

Can't wait to hear more about your planning.

-Becca-

OOOPs I forgot to update my plans!

Our Surf has been Turfed.

We will be in Disney 5 days and 6 nights. No Cruise. It was all booked and we could not get my mom's cast deal. Don't cry for me Argentina, we are so happy to go back home.

Anytime people tell me they are going to Disney, I feel like they are talking about my Dad or something, it is so familiar.

Girl I am not brave, just addicted. Mr. The King is a teacher and refuses to take off during the school year :rolleyes2 education is important blah, blah, blah. I would be there the in the off season in a heartbeat.

I bet April was heaven on a biscuit, was it crowded?

We were just there last month. I'm not sure if I could survive going in the summer..........me and humidity don't mix!

I'm glad you checked in!

Will you all be wearing matching outfits to the game?

It was fun! We did pretty well with the crowds. We do the early to rise thing. Oh and He (DH) wore his Trogdor shirt and had a dozen compliments on it. Obviously coolness is starting to spread! :cool1:

I am big into education too. My poor Cat (DD6) has extra "mom" given homework and projects every night. But I just could not to Disney in the summer. I would melt. :faint:

No! We are back now and I lasted 24 minutes into the game. Then I watched from the van.popcorn:: They lost, but he played well. I found the stickiest guy I could before I retreated into a/c and stood as close as I could to him, to harden myself for the "ripe" guests in Disney. He also always wears clingy cotton boxers as pants. Every Saturday. It is so creepy. He does a lot of squatting too. :duck:

Extra Homework!!! You are brilliant. I wonder if making the kids paint my toenails for me is considered homework. Mr. The King might buy that one.

Funny story, We went to buy hot dogs after the game from a friend of ours that owns a cart. We pulled in to the crowded park, lots of people and cars. I spotted the hot dog man's rainbow umbrella, and sent Mr. The King over to it while I tried to park. I wind up parking next to the hot dog guy and his brand new navy umbrella, no where near the rainbow I sent Mr. The King to. :lmao: Mr. the King fell for a mom with a decoy umbrella keeping the sun off her face. Good times watching him wander around while I ate my hot dog. ;)

P.S. Trogdor rocks!!!!

Ya know. This wasn't very nice. I went to the front door to open it for Mr. The King who had something in his hands. As he is stepping in the house the frog his is holding, jumps out of his hand, peeing:scared1: I herd the dogs to protect the frog while Mr. The King hops around trying to grab the frog. When he gets it, it pees again and hops at me again! Finally I shoo hubby and frog out the door. Why was he launching bladderly challenged frogs at me? He wanted to show the kids the frog. Awww. I forgive him a little bit.

So it is time for a pre trip update, because I saw the Jon and Kate plus 8 where they went to Disney. It was so sweet to see Main Street and Chef Mickey's. While we are watching PS sees one of the seven dwarves and says, There's old Dumpy. :rotfl: So of course, that's Mr. The King's new nick name.

I was checking out canvases for my home made outfits at Wal mart. PS wants a Chip and Dale theme and PC wants a vintage ticket theme.

Peeing frog!!:scared1: I'd have killed him and the frog too!

:lmao: "Dumpy" - I love it!

What can I say about summer here in FL..... no, best that I not. ;) Suffice ti to say I survive by doing all running around EARLY (hello Rope Drop), staying somewhere cool in the afternoon (hello pool/movie/nap in ACd room), and only venturing back out after sunset (hello EMH). That and showers. Lots of 'em. :thumbsup2

PrincessV!!! That's the ultimate plan. Early, pool, late.

@! days left. That is "21" if you don't hit the shift key randomly, like I do.

Now I have an important question! Is organized group singing allowed in Disney? Every day here in the King family we rip a number off this bad boy:

IMG_7353.jpg

And we sing. To the tune of "Oh Christmas Tree"

"Oh Disney World, Oh Disney World, We're coming to you soon, Oh Disney World, Oh Disney World we're coming to you soon. We'll be there soon, Oh Disney World, We're coming soon, oh Disney World. Oh Disney World, Oh Disney World We're coming to you, SOOOOOOOn!"

Complete with screechy out of tune voices and yodeling. While doing the universal hand motion for Disney (Making your two hands into fists and putting them like Mickey's ears on the top of your head)

The Kings take this ritual real serious. I had the fabulous idea of singing a slightly modified version (we are here right NOOOOWWW) on Main Street for our video camera. Mr. The King got a little pale when I busted out this idea. Poor Mr. the King. I honestly feel bad this kind man has been married to me for 35 years. Well it's really almost 11, but I am sure it feels longer. To him.

For Father's day I went with the kids to buy him a Father's day gift at Target. This year's planning was in the pooper, but last year The kids and I dadnapped him and took him to a local outdoor art park. We brought a cordless drill and a picnic basket. He was so curious after seeing our supplies. But the park has a Father's Day program where you build a catapult with your family and then fling paint at a canvas. You get to take the picture and the catapult home with you. That was an amazing Father's Day. This year, not so much. PS (DD6) picked out a T shirt that had an animal on the front. I tried to steer her in other ways, but she was set on the squirrel shirt. Mr. the King opened his present.:

Back to the song. Do you think we can do it??!! Or will Goofy dressed as a ::cop: pound us into Disney Jail (which everyone knows is Universal Studios).

We will be on Main Street early for our breakfast ADR's. Any thoughts?

I am scoping out base clothes for the kids' handmade Disney outfits. I better get started.

We are driving straight through, no happy overnights for The Kings this time. We are trying to save extra money for gas. Freaking gas. It is starting to make me mad.

So PrincessV can you run over to Disney, sing my song and tell me how long before you are approached by Goofy? Thanks

:rotfl:

Ummmm...the shirt is flippin hilarious. And of course...it's very appropos for a man as exhibitionist as Mr. The King...since he does love to sing on Main Street and all!

Can't wait to hear all about it!
