Oh, I've always wanted to make movies of them too, but I can see how that might not be such a good idea. I do really enjoy reading them because it feels like there's finally a book set in "my" world. I also love how they're set in WDW, a real place, but have fictional aspects to them as well. I forget which book it was in, but I'm not sure if any of you have noticed that it says something about fastpasses for haunted mansion, and there are no fastpasses for haunted mansion. I thought that was amusing.

Actually at one point there WAS FP for the regular HM at WDW... but they changed it after realizing it wasn't needed.

I LOVE the KK series!! They are geared for younger kids, but I still enjoy them... can't wait for #3!!!

they should make a kingdom keepers movie but disney would rather make box office fails like race to witch mountain and bolt and wait for pixar to make a good film

The books are fun. They could be so much better, but they make a quick, fun read. I still need to read the 2nd.

i definitely agree with the "my world" thing lol i am like one of the biggest disney fans in the world hence how i stumbled apon this series lol but the second book hasn't been so bad so far. and i def can't wait for the 3rd as i keep mentioning lol

OmJ i love Ridley pearsons books!!!!! read each of the KK's twice (awaiting the third one!!!!!) and i've started on the peter and the starcatchers novels!!!!! now there working on a musical version of Peter... I want to play Molly!!!!!!!

I thought they already did a play on Peter & the Starcatchers.

The 4th book is rumoured to be on the cruise line, but there's been no info released on it yet.

Off-topic: I loved Bolt...

I think they should and shuldn't turn them into movies. I think, because they go into the Utilidors (sp?) and stuff, it might ruin the magic a little. I think the movie wuldn't do the boks jusice, also. But i would be cool if they did it right.

i was listening 2 a disney podcast and ridley pearson was the special guest. supposedly disney tried to do the movie several times, but theye didn't want to ruin the magic by going backstage and showing things unseen by guests i.e. utilidors, parts of the castle, small world with working lights etc...

I read the first one. I haven't read the second one yet.

My mom told me today that the authors were at Magic Kingdom today doing research for the series. I'm not sure if it was for the 3rd one coming out (probably not since it has a cover and is probably done by now) or maybe a 4th one they're starting to work on. Apparently they were on Peter Pan for about an hour or so before the park opened.

EDIT: Oh wait, just Ridley Pearson did Kingdom Keepers. He and the other guy (can't remember his name) wrote Peter and the Starcatchers. So they must have been doing research for a new Peter book, that would make sense with the peter pan ride.

It's nowhere like VMK. I've been playing the beta version. The Overtakers have entered the Virtual Mantenance Network, and you have to stop them from destroying the Internet by destroying their bases. There isn't much Disney things in it, other than a couple of main levels where you fight Maleficent.

I'm asking my aunt to get the book for me when she goes to WDW, but she doesn't leave until the 18th April -_-
