Perhaps some pixie dust will have openings on your Kidani stay and you can upgrade with points to concierge! If you do, try the quinoa. Most people eat it as a pasta-type dish with meals but they serve it there as an oatmeal type hot cereal! High protein!

Loved hearing about your experience! We are debating on adding a cabanna or not on our cruise (409 days away ) and your report has me itching to do it! Congrats on the 85 pound weight loss! You rock!

Enjoyed the report , we were on the same cruise and stayed at treehouse
villas before and bay lake tower after now i need to go again, need to try to get the upgrade to concierge next time sounds great

I had SO much fun traveling along with your family! What a perfect vacation - I couldn't have planned it any better

I have never taken a Disney cruise (one and only cruise was aboard the Grand Princess right after 9/11/01) but would love to experience a Disney cruise in the exact same manner your family did. We have only stayed at BWV by renting points and love the location. This last visit with my youngest 3 boys (which was the youngest 2's first visit) we thought we would like to try the Beach Club Villas but didn't like where the rooms are located. I mentioned concierge and they would love that but renting points is the most economical way for me to plan a vacation for my large family.

So....when I hit the lottery, I will definitely book a 5 night Disney cruise (concierge) and stay at the Poly (concierge)

We will arrive at the poly on July 4th! Post cruise
Plan on enjoying the poly and fireworks on the beach, no parks that day. Then spend another 2 days at the parkpost cruise, then head home

Thank you for your kind words. Honestly, I really don't remember. We were fairly midship, but we weren't there long .

Yeah -- the lottery would be nice . Thank goodness for AP rates and unexpected upgrades .

I found myself missing Disney this morning, and one of my cures for that is heading over to the DisBoards and reading trip reports. I just finished reading yours, and I wanted to say thank you! I'm headed back to Orlando in 204 days (not that I'm counting or anything ) for a stay at BWV followed by a 5-day Bahamas cruise on the Dream, and your TR was just what the doctor ordered on a cold and wet winter morning here in the Bay Area!
