ive been up since 5.30!! i was fine all day yesterday, not at all tired, struggled to get to sleep then awake at 4pm and i gave up and came dowbstairs at 5.30 and have been catching up on what ive missed while we have been away:eek:

I think 4am is very reasonable. On my last Florida trip, I was awake at midnight after going to bed at 10pm. This wouldn't have mattered but I had to work next day!!! And it went on for nearly a week!!!:(

Hi Nat, I know how you feel.

 Apart from the sadness of leaving WDW, the next worst thing is jet lag. It usually takes me about a week to recover. Get your photos developed and transfer your video onto a tape and that will cheer you up, or even better start planning your next trip.

Hope the jet lag passes quickly Natalie!

Hi try melatonin it is great for jetlag we buy it over the counter at walgreens and take it the first evening home and back to normal the following day. Absolutely great.

Thanks for that info about melatonin Keme. I've been doing a little light research on it since I read your post and there does seem to be agreement that it can be helpful for jetlag. So I'm going to give it a go!!

Welcome to the DIS :wave2:

Another trick to do on next trip. As soon as you get off the plane get out into the sunlight for at least a half hour if not more. It's claimed to help jet lag.

how do you get rid of jetlag? DH and I have got it bad!! only had 4 hours sleep on sunday night, we ended up getting up and watching tv while drinking hot chocolate, not a bad thing in itself but I would have preffered the sleep!
