The Wisteria's blooming in my garden and I'm enjoying the simple things of life. Whatever your taste in music, there's nothing like it to lift the spirits. Bread, cheese and good wine...aaaah!

I'm with you there Deb...just resting in the garden yesterday on my lounger, after mowing the lawn, thinking about all the things I had to be thankful for

Listening to the birds sing, smelling the newly cut grass, looking over at Mark ...and the sound of Becky singing to herself while she was on the PC...a good sound to hear!

Sitting in the sun, having a drinky and watching the world go by makes me happy

We are sitting in our conservatory watching the birds feeding on some hanging bird feeders we bought yesterday

So far we have had sparrows, loads of starlings and even a goldfinch

I'm with you Debbie I love the first warm sunny days after Winter - and may there be lots of them! - and getting out in the sunshine and walking through the fields or having a BBQ in the garden and enjoying good company and a bottle of wine.

Music - couldn't live without it !!

... and isn't it good to see the plants sprouting leaves and everything becoming green again ?

Hearing DD Katie (10) giggling with her friends . . . May Day celebrations on our village green yesterday after a few vinos with our friends at our BBQ. . . . DH coming home after being away on business for a few days

Tim - the RSPB are doing a UK wide count of sparrows at the moment - they're in serious decline so they've asked all RSPB members to fill in a count this week.

Can you let me know how many you see (don't get anoraky about it though ) if you're not already doing it

I think the most we saw at any one time was 4 (2 males and 2 females).
The starlings kept scaring them off though

DD has got me building a bird box now
