The Jan 25 - Feb 1 LOOK FOR US thread

I'll be there with DH(36) DD(11) DS(9, the day we arrive) and DD(3) from 1/27-2/3. We are staying at the Nick hotel. DH thinks I'm on here way too much! But, he'll be glad once we are there I'm sure. This board has been a great help.

We will be going to the P&PP are on the 1st.

Count us in too...
We'll be at POP from January 30th to Feb 8th. I'm got my LGMH's but I don't know what I'm doing with them yet! Putting them on my backpack and stroller for sure...
ADR's (one dinner per day, by order of date)
30th: Chef Mickey's
Ohana's
1900 Park Fare
Coral Reef
Spoodles
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Trial's End
Boma
none
1900 Park (last day brunch!)

Say hi! If you see us. My DD will have her bright pink crocs with her Cinderella dress, DS will be in his brand new stroller (not Maclaren alas, just a good imitation) and my DH will be looking embarrassed when you come to say hi!!! :)

:cheer2: We will be in the world for our 1st trip Jan 29th to Feb 5th! POR and Poly!:cheer2:

I need to start packing!!!!

Only 12 more days! Did yall see our first 3 days of weather on accuweather? It says high of 60's and lows in the 40's. Do they really know that far in advance? I hope it will change the week before we go. 70's would be nice but as long as we have sunshine its all good. I have heard all of the value resorts are booked for super bowl weekend. I hope that's not the case during the week also. Has anyone else heard anything? Has it still been easy to change ADR's for anyone who has done it this week? For anyone who has any info. on crowds that week, let us know.

Woo-hoo!!! Counting down--11 days to go!

I think that the weather predictions are more accurate when you are looking at dates closer in time to the actual date you are interested in...for instance the 3-day weather forecast is more accurate than the 10-day forecast. Most of the websites I have been to predict the month based on averages but predict the 10-day forecast based on the actual weather predicted. Does that make sense?? So if you go to weather.com and look at the month forecast for Orlando only the next 10 days are highlighted and are actual predictions, anything past 10 days is based on averages. Weather.com is showing that on the 25th (the last date predicted in the 10 day range) is 68 highs and 53 lows. I'm like you though and just hoping that it doesn't rain!! :confused3 But the weather will get more accurate from my understanding when you get within 3-5 days of travel.

As far as changing ADRs I changed mine this morning. I was originally going to the Sci-Fi Dine In on the 29th and changed it to the 50's Primetime Cafe and was able to get the same reservation time with ease. Although last week I tried to add an ADR for LeCellier for the 28th and had no luck. Guess it depends on the restaurant. Good luck!

Hopefully we'll get great weather and minimal crowds. I don't know about the Superbowl but I've read and been told that September and the end of January are typically the two slowest times of the year. What that means for crowds though I don't know.

We'll be there the 25th-31st, just DH and myself (no, we aren't mean, not leaving little kiddies at home.. DS is in college:thumbsup2 ). We're staying at POFQ.

My husband just informed me that he's taking me there for my birthday 1/30-2/2!!!!! Best of all, we're leaving the kids (normally I'd be sad about this but they've been SO MUCH FUN today that I just don't care).

Can't believe it!!!!! :cool1:

My DH and I went without kids last year in December...it was GREAT, and the kids didn't mind...they had been before and are going in EIGHT DAYS woo hoooo!

We'll be staying at SOG and OKW for this visit to the World, and then on to the Wonder for a 3-day cruise. There will be 8 of us in our group, myself (33), DH38, DS4, DS2, my parents and my in-laws. I just changed an ADR last week for a late dinner for all 8 of us at the Rose and Crown and had no problems. I am now praying to the Disney gods for low crowds!

I am too excited! See you all there!

We will be there from 1/25-1/29 (such a short trip:sad2: )

We are staying at the BWV and going to Pirate and Princess on the 26th. Look for us. Feel free to PM me

We're hoping for low crowds and great weather too!! But, anything is better than the low 20's we've been experiencing here in Utah!! AHH.

Can't wait.:)

The 10 day count down starts today!! It has been 1year and 4 months since our last visit and I can't wait! I am also going back Feb. 21 thru Feb. 25 for a pediatric cardiac conference at the Yacht Club. I am just going with 3 other people from work and we will be in class until 5pm every day but I will still be getting paid to be in Disney World. Accuweather today says no rain during our week but highs of 61 and lows of 40. Maybe it will forcast a little warmer closer to the trip. I read on another board that someone made ADR's without any difficulty and for the times they wanted for Jan. 28 thru Feb. 2. Still hoping for low crowds. :yay:  :yay:

I hear you - it's been bitterly cold here in Indiana (low in the teens two nights ago). I'm ready for anything above 60! :yay:

OK...I am entering the "I am so excited I am almost sick" phase :upsidedow
My "to do" list is not very fun: laundry, master program homework, my job :rotfl2: , etc etc etc.

The fun stuff is done: daily schedules, ADR's, car rental.

5 more sleeps until we leave!
