I just spent an hour, yes an hour, on an installment and when I went to post it, poof it was gone. Somehow it had logged me out and instead of posting it asked me for my log in. Then once I did, gone. So frustrating.
I will try again but might get only half through the night as it is getting late and I need my beauty sleep!
Thanks for asking about me faithful readers! I am so sorry for the delay. Just a crazy busy week and yes I have been selling GS Cookies! Belle and Bashful are both GS and so we have been trying to sell sell sell. I also think subconsciously I don't want to finish this because when I do, then what? The trip is over, the trippie will be over and it will be too soon to really plan much of our next trip. *sigh*
So we left with us getting on the bus to Epcot. We had a 7pm ADR at Le Cellier. I had hoped for an earlier one but this was all I could get. I knew I was pretty lucky just to have one.
We arrived and headed to the Imagination Pavilion. There was no line for the Figment ride and so we hopped on. I used to like the old ride, the one with the catchy song "Imagination, Imagination, A Dream, A Dream, A Dream Come True, For Me and You". My kids, they don't know the old ride so they have nothing to compare it to. They liked this one, esp the smell part. I thought it was cute and was glad to hear the old song get a shout out towards the end. Figment though, what is it about Figment? He is sort of like the distant freakish second cousin to the Disney characters I think. He is not as cute, not as cuddly, doesn't have as great a personality. Sorry Figment, you just never really caught on with me.
We exited and as we entered the play area or whatever you call it a Kodak show was just starting about digital photography. Bashful was picked to be an assistant and got to put on a white lab coat and some goofy glasses. She looked cute in a funny way. I have pictures I will add soon, they are on the PC, I am on the laptop, it is Thursday and I just watched The Office and now Grey's Anatomy is on, you know the drill. We got a digital photo of her as a keepsake and she had fun taking part. Very unlike her, she is usually so shy, but she came out of her shell a bit on this trip.
Then we found those machines where you take a picture and can send an email card with it. We did those for a little bit, each kid wanted to make one of course. The Grandmas were the lucky recipients and I think we had one kid that looked like a tiger, one a flower and one might have been a monkey.
We started to walk towards World Showcase. It was very dark and the lights were all on. I have to say it again, Epcot at Christmas at night is so beautiful! The path we were on was quite dark though, very hard to see where you were going. We meandered our way over to Canada and even though it was only 6:30pm we tried to check in. We were told to come back at 7pm. The place was hopping and there were a lot of people waiting to check in and coming and going. Popular spot for sure!
We went over to the Kidcot station. The kids started yet another mask. We had forgotton to bring our very pathetic masks that had only Mexico on them. Here they started new ones that would end up with only Canada on them. Grumpy and I pulled up a bench and relaxed while they colored. The CM working was very friendly and chatty. She had only been there 2 weeks and seemed to be enjoying her job.
It was close to 7pm so we tried to check in again and were given the OK. We sat in the waiting area to, well, wait. We saw numerous people being turned away who had no ADRs. We saw some begging too. "But it is our last night, is there anything you can do?". Ummm, nope. The CMs were quite nice about it but there was no room at the inn tonight. I heard Biergarden being offered up a few times as a suggested alternative.
Goofy approached me and in a quiet voice, thank goodness, said to me "Is it inappropriate to say someone has a big bum?".

I looked up and at the check in was a woman with a rather big bum, and well to my little Goofy it just might have been the biggest bum he would have ever seen in his short 4 years. Thank goodness for his unusually quiet voice and the loud din of the filled to capacity restaurant, said lady could not have heard him. I told him that yes it was in fact inappropriate and tried to distract him to something else. Embarassing moment averted. Phew!
A nice CM came over to my kids and started playing 20 Questions with them to guess the Disney character. It was nice of her and helped my kids pass the time. Then it was our time! It had only been a 10-15 minute wait, not long at all.
We were seated in a corner. If you are standing at the check in desk and look to your right and over the half wall, we were right down there. Our server was friendly and efficient without making us feel rushed. She explained the menu and the
DDP and told us we could get shakes and smoothies, even the kids.
Now I had the whole night written out the first time but I have to stop here. I am sorry! I will finish the rest of our Le Cellier evening tomorrow so please check back!
Thank you faithful readers for sticking with me! We are almost done!
