I'm calling this trip 'its' a bit hot, isn't it' as that phrase was probably uttered by one member of our group every 10 minutes throughout the 4 days we were there!
Right, this is my first trip report, so please bear with me.

We spent 3 nights at Sequoia Lodge
Day 1
Woke every one up at 6am for a quick breakfast (which the kids were to excited to eat) and last minute packing and panicing ready for our taxi to take us to our local station at 7am. Our train arrived at Ashford at 8.15, which is very early for the 10.30 Eurostar, but we worried about getting the next one as it was an hour later and we decided it was better safe than sorry!
We were pleased to find check in opened at just as we arrived at the Eurostar desk and by 8.45 we were sitting in the departure lounge eating a second breakfast (the kids decided they were hungry now!)
The Eurostar journey was pretty uneventful, although as soon as we left the tunnel into France, we drove staight into thick fog then rain. We were a bit worried by this as we had looked at the forecast before we left and not packed many cold weather clothes, but as be pulled up to DLP the rain stopped and the sun broke through!
We decided to go straight to our hotel and check in, although it was a bit early. When we got there our rooms weren't ready as it was only 2pm, so we left our bags and went and had drinks and snacks by the lake. We went back at 3 to pick up our keys, but the man behind the desk said our rooms still weren't ready, then flicked around on his computer and then said he did have two different ones that were, but they were Montana rooms. I think I must have scowled at him enough by this point and he said he thought it best just to put us in these rooms
When we got there we discovered that they also had a lake view
Now it was finally time to head to the park! We walked rather than get the bus as it really isn't that far and soon we were walking through the gates and towards the castle
We headed straight for IASW as the kids were eager to get a ride under their belt and I figured this would have a small queue and I was right, we just walked on. DS2 was silent and open mouthed the whole way round, while the other 2 pointed things out to him that they had remembered from before.
We then managed to do the tea cups, Casey jnr and the boat thing next to it all with just 5 minute queues which was great.

We then headed to the Village as we had booked dinner at the La Grange. This wa really disappointing, the food was cold, the service was poor and the choice very limited. This is definatly the worst place I have eaten in DLP.

We headed back to the park and got there about 7.15 and still managed to be in a good place to see the parade. DD and DS2 loved this. FF was a bit sceptical about the whole parade thing but he eventually admitted it was good.
Then we headed to Star Tours as this is DS1's favourite. Our FF loved the queuing area and him and DS1 discussed Star Wars in a very aninmated fashion fo the whole 15 minute queue. DD hated this ride last time and we hoped she had got over it as she was older now, but she still hated it and hid her face under her jumper while we were on it and said she was never going on it again.
We then headed to POTC which was walk on. Last time the kids all found this a bit scary, this time they loved it. We wandered for a bit and did a bit of shopping. DS2 bought a new Buzz, which was all he had been talking about getting on holiday sice his old ones head fell off about a month ago
and DD goy a Jasmine outfit to wear the next day.DP and FF went on Indiana Jones, which again was walk on. They said it was pretty average rollercoaster fare and were glad they hadn't queued for it.
It was about 10pm, so we decided to walk back to the hotel as the kids were exhausted and by 11pm they were all tucked up and asleep in bed, ready to be up early the next day
I would add photos but don't have a clue how! Help!
