well I decided against that dress, sadly for 2 reasons. One the color I liked was gone (the pretty blue/teal) and 2 I have a very strong feeling it wouldn't work as well on me given the way it was cut on top after reading the reviews. Could be wrong on that but I didn't love the other colors.

I did use that free shipping code though and got a different dress I've been eying for a while (in sangria lol) and another pair of shorts so thanks for saving me $7! I realized I needed to move as they are not the fastest site for shipping and if I wanted another pair of shorts I'd better get a move on!

Decided to be good and hold off on the rest but I did eye a lot of things!

Ha! Well glad it came in use!

I can "fill out" the front neckline pretty well and I have hips, so it worked well on me ... but I am glad you found something else!!! I loved that teal color too! I liked the Sangria/purplish color as well, but I have a lighter purple, and I have been craving a basic black cotton/lycra dress, that I liked, so I am really happy with it.

I am sure it will arrive in time!

What a great evening!
I def have to try Cali Grill.
Ground floor rooms made going out to play so easy.

You know it was a great evening!!! Cali Grill is AMAZING... I love everything about that restaurant... We have never stayed in a ground floor room, and at first I was a little hesitant, but in this case, because of location, it was a nice view, pretty private, and yes, the sidewalk made play easy!

Hmmmm...California Grille is one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property! I so would love to get to eat there again someday!!!! YAY for a great dinner!!!!

Hey everyone!!!

Guess WHAT??!!

The first week of December, I am going to St. Petersburg FL, for a school training, as is my DH...





AND





We have just decided to add on a few days at the beginning of the trip.



We will be visiting that OTHER park for two days



AND



Spending two days...





at DISNEY!!




Right now we havea studio at Kidani Village, but we are looking to see if we can squeeze in to a different resort, something closer to the action... keep your fingers crossed!!!!

If it all works out, I MIGHT be going to the Christmas Party, too.... WE'LL see.

I already made reservations! Gotta act fast!!! JIKO and Blue Zoo...

OKAY. NOW BACK to your REGULARLY SCHEDULED HAPPY DOG TR...

Looks like a lovely evening at Cali Grill. Nothing wrong with finishing a bottle of pink bubbly before dinner. There are bubbles... hardly any alcohol.

Too cute the boys thought the decor needed a re-do.

They are good to behave and sit through "fancy" dinners!

For what it is worth, I thought AKL at Christmas was beautiful!

My fear is filling out that front neckline TOO well, I don't need things exaggerated and the reviews seemed to indicate it might be a problem lol! Both the sangria and purple were gone in a medium tall and I didn't love the other colors. I think black would be great, just not what I want for August in FL! I would have tried it if they had the other colors though.

I got the mundaka dress which I'd been eying for a while, I loved the fact it had pockets but hopefully it doesn't look like a sack on me! It looks like the perfect weight for humid august. We will see. I had tried the pack everywhere dress and it was a disappointment in multiple ways so it went back.

It will get here in time, but barely, I find for me it's the full 9 business days from them. So if I was going to get anything from them I had to order it this week.

Nope, just us. We had drinks and apps at Blue Zoo this trip, it is really nice, and I am looking forward to Dinner!!! Jiko we had dinner at in February. It was amazing. These two DH will totally be excited for and since they are resort restaurants we dont need park tickets.

We are going for four days, THREE nights, and then UP to St. Pete's for three more for the workshop. We are arriving early on Sat Nov 28, spending that night in a Universal property, hanging out there for most of the day on Sunday checking into our Disney spot Sunday and spending Sunday night, all day Mon and Mon night and some of Tuesday there in Disney.

I CANNOT wait until you go and come back because I was thinking the same thing!! BUT of course I want you to go and have a wonderful time.....

They are well behaved in restaurants. I am at least relieved about that. They have traveled a lot too, so that helps. They can be silly but do have manners.

I know the AKL is gorgeous, so either way it will be a great few days.

And the Pink bubbles were a perfect way to enjoy the evening breeze...

Oh FUN! Blue Zoo was my date night choice but now that the in-laws are only with us for 5 of the Disney nights...a date night seemed rude. Jiko is WAY up there too for me, for a date night.

Which Universal Property are you looking at? We may pool hop at all 3 lol....supposedly you can.

If it was just Jeff and I, we'd probably go for Portofino.

Hopefully the crowds will be better when you go, the reports are scary!

Yeah, sadly the cut of the senorita dress often doesn't work so well for me up top (well I guess that depends on your POV, Jeff might disagree lol) and the reviews seemed to concur. The other one looks perfect for the heat, and is a neckline that generally works really well, fingers crossed!

Hopefully it's right, problem with Athleta is their sizes can be inconsistent so if the size is off there won't be enough time to exchange but....we'll see. I swear the exchange process takes 3 weeks!

Hooray for the December trip. Maybe if I join the "darkside" of school I will get to go to some conferences somewhere. I did two trips to NYC when we started reading and writing project with Columbia, but other than that nothing fun around here!

HA!!!! Well, since I run the program, if you willl (I am head of school for a school within a school Magnet -- if that makes sense) the program requires specific training. My DH also teaches in the same program at another school, so we are saving money for the schools by rooming together... Seriously! We often go separately so we each get a separate trip, but his course training wasn't offered at any other time... Normally we can do more, but with budgets, sadly, even our training funds are down.. we normally get to go to the regional conference and couldn't this year -- it was in Miami!
