Following on from something @theluckyrabbit said in the speculation thread. Many of us are still logging in to Dis every day but not necessarily posting, as even the Disneyland speculation thread is going quiet. People drift away, thats to be expected, but now when people drift away, there is the added worry of Covid and the wider things that are happening in peoples lives due to Covid.

So even if there is nothing Disney related you feel like posting, come in here and just say hi. Just seeing the user names will give people a lift and a hope that one day will get back to normal Disney related threads and posts :grouphug:

Big hug to you! Glad to see you today and hope that you are hanging in there. :) Thank you for starting this thread!

Nice thread!

Although I'm not very active on here, I do log in everyday and come straight to the Disneyland Forum to see what's been posted. That, and I do miss the crap out of the parks. After growing up 30 miles from the parks, to finally buying my own annual pass when I could afford one and now being nearly 1,000 miles away? Tough for sure. Trip Reports definitely help... SO looking forward to reading those again when the time comes to reopen! Until then, my daily Disney dose here will have to suffice.

I'm still here too. Hope everyone is doing okay and getting through this as best as they can. I'm in Washington, we've got some big closures still and to be honest I just want to go sit down at a restaurant and have a meal. Don't get me wrong I know how serious everything is but man I really miss going out to eat. Plus I'm out of things to cook.

I'm here! With DLR likely closed for some months to come and the high number of positives, I've just resigned myself to months before I can go back. I still check the posts but I have so many other things to deal with right now and I don't feel I have anything of value to say in a post. Thanks for this idea, BPT!

I am here. I have, since finding this site in 2012, always come here to relax and de-stress. I read the posts and post here and there. I am also now posting trip reports of very old trips, as i thought others might find interest in seeing these old pictures etc.

I am still around most days. And still missing Disneyland like crazy. I am booked for WDW in March and I do believe that is going to happen. I still need to book airfare (Delta is finally in a range I will pay), dining reservations (need to chat with my friends about again), and park reservations (need my Premier AP to extend out again to do so).

Still here. Got a new job so can’t post as often. Plus, missing DL like crazy. Trying to stay positive about opening, but honestly I don’t think that will happen for a very long time. Looking forward to all this craziness being a distant memory.

We were fortunate to visit WDW in December and might plan another trip in the summer if it looks like DL won’t open. Our trip was a much needed mental break for all of us. It was surreal and amazing and exhausting all in one! ☺️

Still here! Only check a couple of times a week.

Tomorrow is my DGD's 18th BDay! (She's 2nd from left in the avatar, right below me. Long time ago LOL). DW and I would sure like to see her, hug her, congratulate her. I'd give up a DL trip to be able to do so. But she works now on the front lines (grocery store), and there are those in her extended family with Covid. We've resigned ourselves to just seeing her when the pandemic is done  I could sure use a virtual hug right now.

I am still here down in New Zealand.

I have just as of this moment cancelled our reservation with our hotel for October as it's not going to happen with travel. Even if Disney was open we would still no doubt need to go into managed isolation on our return to New Zealand for 2 weeks at our cost.

I still keep checking out this dis board as it's nice to have something to dream about. I will hopefully aim for 2022 :)

I seldom post but I find myself checking in periodically to see what those of you who post regularly have to say.
I’ve only made four trips in my life to DL and all but one of those as a grandmother, but I LOVED planning those trips with the help of all of you. The months of planning only added to the fun of finally being there!
I’m hoping to get back someday after all of this craziness is over, which, God willing, will be soon.
All the best to all of you who feel the same way:lovestruc

Still here. I have wondered about several posters, even some that drove us bonkers, and miss them too. :)

I hope everyone is still here on the flip side. Oh man I can't wait. Even once we get an announcement, I suspect our board will suddenly come to life.

When it comes time to return, I am going to stay at the CCI, and going to try to spend money at businesses on Harbor and Katella that survived, even if it's to buy totally ridiculous knick knacks and overpriced water bottles. And I can't wait to do so.

I am also still here. I had a major deadline last week and wasn't able to spend time here, but I still check in when I can! Still hoping to get there this year (have tickets purchased a year ago), but don't have anything booked currently. We'll see how things go - there's a possibility the BFF and I can go back to DTD in April, but only if dining is available and we don't have to quarantine. Depending on what WDW decides to do with its 50th Anniversary, we may wind up there this summer, instead, though. (Ugh - Florida in the summer!)
